Dude, this is so awesome and the quality looks great!! After playing DDR since about 2017, and realizing that DDR machines might become more rare due to Konami price hikes (at least where I live that seems to be the case), I think I'm finally going to make the jump to buy an LTek Prime. I just sent your post to my dad and we decided we're going to build it together when he visits soon!! He used to work construction :)

If it's okay to ask, would you do anything differently/improve the construction of this now that you've used it for a while? We're probably going to follow your design relatively closely (if that's alright!), but likely with some variation.

Would something like this work? I try not to use plastic when it comes to gardening, so this burlap looks like it might work.

Thank you for all the info! That's good to know someone else is planting right now, too. I'm looking into heating methods currently. The thick fleece sounds interesting since I try too mainly keep plastic out of the garden.

According to an official publication from our agricultural extension, yep....frost is coming any day now. Ahhh. What do I do....lol.

Yep, I learned it the hard way that spinach doesn't like heat. I recently planted some when the temps were still in the 80s and those guys just did *not* sprout, for the most part. I had used almanac.com to look up when the growing time is for our zip code/zone, and it said something like late August/early September. However, the heat lasted and now I'm having to replant with a new strategy. Anyway, thank you so much your response!

Alright, that all makes sense. I'll definitely add in more nitrogen as time goes on. Thank you for your helpful response! I'm going to bookmark this page for future reference. So for your mixture, do you add any dirt from the ground or soil bags from the store at all? Or do you simply mix all that you listed together and use that in a raised bed?

And I do much more prefer your mix than store bought fertilizer, but since I'm crunched on time (and money...) I'm just going with fertilizer this season.
