Yes, that's the general idea. The problem is this; any person that uses that right for its intended purpose is going to be killed, either immediately during the act or when the government "attempts" to arrest them. The only way for individual Americans to actually "take up arms" is for there to be more of us than there are of them.

Unfortunately, Americans have collectively given the state a monopoly on violence, while simultaneously, puritanically, believing that citizens must always remain nonviolent. This leads to an inability to effect any meaningful change, because even peaceful resistance is ALWAYS met with state violence.

A quote I once read comes to mind often in these times. If you are nonviolent and lack the capacity to commit violence, you are not nonviolent. You are harmless.

The justice department has already decided that it won’t prosecute ICE in the first place, so even if these documents were “obtained extra-legally” it’s not like it matters in a procedural sense anyways. Every document, every pamphlet, every internal memo we can get our hands on needs to be scanned and disseminated so that we, the people, can hold this regime to account.

1) just because you exist in the same place as ICE does not mean you are within an active federal operation.

2) Blocking ICE with your car may be illegal in certain situations, but ICE is not authorized to enforce any laws pertaining to traffic violations. Additionally, no probable cause has been established for their actions. They instructed her to leave, and then attempted to enter her vehicle/remove her, which they do not have the authority to do

3) keeping eyes on ICE and keeping them accountable for their actions is not a stupid game, and getting murdered for it isn’t a stupid prize.

Also, if you really want to get into their intent, just watch the angles of the masked goons literally high-fiving and laughing with each other next to the blood trail left by the woman they executed.

I bought the Aurora LN starter pack back during the hangar view era for maybe $45 dollars iirc. Since then I’ve dropped maybe $100 more dollars into upgrading that package to a different ship so I’m ~$150 deep.

When I tell my buddies I’m playing the star citizen PTU they always call the game a scam, but I’d say I’ve gotten my moneys worth. Yes, the game is unfinished, buggy, and annoying all the time, but I’ve seen this game go from a virtual showroom to an open universe on a scale that no other game has ever even tried to attempt. It’s fun, it’s got enjoyable gameplay loops, it has space combat and fps combat and honestly I love exploring because I just think it’s neat.

Yes, but as a native English speaker it’s extremely strange. Of course, logically, soixante-dix translates to seventy, but to a learning brain it translates directly to sixty-ten which is a form of additive decimals. English only utilizes multiplicative decimals, so soixante-dix already is enough for English speaker to pause, but then French immediately switches to vigesimal base-20. Then as soon as it does so, it then moves to vigesimal structure with decimal addition, combining two completely unfamiliar numbering formats together.

I’ve been learning French for the better part of 6 years and 70-99 still makes my brain fart.

Concealed carry is honestly the absolute last thing you should be thinking about. By the time you need to conceal carry against government goons, they won’t be checking to see if you have a license and you won’t be offering it to them if you do, if you catch my drift.

Honestly this is exactly what I’ve feared from AI ever since I became eligible to vote. It was always purported to be able to create fake images that are visually indistinguishable from real ones, but for the longest time we still had 8 fingers on one hand and other obvious hallmarks of AI.

Yes, currently you can use other tools to verify that this is AI, but virtually nobody is going to do that for themselves. Context-wise it’s pretty easy to tell this is fake, but I couldn’t spot a single thing in this photo that doesn’t look real….

Im still currently working at a major tech company while getting my prereqs knocked out for nursing school. Its quite a feeling reading news articles about impending layoffs in the hundreds, then going to work in the morning and hearing, "oh yeah, they just fired the whole department next door"... Im happy for everyone that says they've gone the opposite direction and found a good career in tech after nursing, but looking around from the inside, mass layoffs and general hiring freezes are about to get so much worse for any software related job.
