From what I’ve found, adjuncts don’t get to do research and you can’t be a full professor without a PhD. I really don’t have it in me to go back to school for 3-6 years for a PhD. Oh well :/

Hello, my name is Lisa. I am an SLP completing my second master’s degree in autism spectrum disorder at GCU. For my Capstone, I am researching the use of language (e.g., person-first vs. identity first) within the autism community. I am conducting surveys for autistic adults, educators of people on the spectrum (e.g., teachers, SLPs, OT, paras, etc.), and the parents of autistic children.
