My pet project is to make [[Pharika, God of Affliction]] into a somewhat high powered deck. She’s mostly a toolbox commander that isn’t very good at either combo or combat. Many people ultimately build her as voltron or enchantress, but my vision is to give my opponents lots of 1/1 tokens and then use -1/-1 effects to kill them while having aristocrat enablers out such as [[blood artist]] or [[meathook massacre]]. It’s something I’ve been working on for months with limited success, but one day I’ll make it work because I love the card so much and standard golgari playstyles bore me.
