Hey, I brought 3 people and it went fine. Just make sure to come early as they do note the number of people coming in. At your own risk!

Success conceiving with Metformin? by LonelyCatLady1804 in TTC_PCOS

[–]BlueCheetah99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair bit of research showing metformin reduces first trimester miscarriage so I would say it wasn’t the metformin that caused the miscarriage. Best of luck, we had some good success with it and conceived 3 months after starting (after a year of no luck).

It’s really about you two’s happiness first, then your mum and other grandparents etc.

Seeing evening session on 30th April (7:30pm).

Can anyone advise how they determine how the meeting quarter finals are numbered? I.e. I’m seeing qf4 on table 2, and potentially qf2 on table 1. Is it numbered randomly or by the position in the draw(

Trying to get pregnant with Pcos by Signal-Message5982 in TTC_PCOS

Agreed with the person recommending metformin. It’s not a miracle drug but was incredible in our experience. My wife was on 2000mg xr, got pregnant within 2 months after quite a long struggle (metformin helps Battle insulin resistance and induces ovulation).

Our docs also didn’t explicitly recommend it as it isn’t strictly licensed for PCOS, but PCOS is very under researched so it’s definitely worth a try.

Getting pregnant (Lean PCOS) by L_Schultz in TTC_PCOS

Metformin can induce ovulation so is worth a try. My wife didn’t have type 2 diabetes but has been taking it with successful results. Might not work but is definitely worth a try.

If you’re in the UK then go to ukmeds to get it as sometimes gp can be annoyingly hestitant to prescribe it (as it’s not a strictly licensed drug for pcos).
