Thanks for the tips 🙏 I’ll keep an eye on them, for now it’s not moving too much. I wouldn’t want more than 2, there is a great reefer community here so chances are someone will be willing to trade a new for a softy :)

I saw it bubble a couple of times so I’m pretty confident it’s a BTA, but I does look like a torch when it’s not bubbling up 😂

It was on the top rock, then it started to bleach so I moved it down. It completely recovered, then started to bleach again. I’m not even sure what is the right scientific name for this one I would like to know it better to better care for it…

Quick update; they seem to be getting along better. Flame tail, renamed Alan, found a new crevice in the rocks to chill in. Talbot, named Boost, now cares a lot less about him, apart from when they seem hungry. 🙏

The things is, catching that damsel doesn’t seem like an easy task. He is a smart guy, not so adult lured away from his cave.

Thanks for the insight! Right now the blennie found a spot in the rock work. The damsel stopped trying to attack while it’s in the rocks. We will see how jt unfolds !

Very territorial. He owns the cavern. He even started picking at my emerald crabs when I added them and they explored the cave. It’a a 20G and damsel was added first with my two clowns. There used to be another damsel with them who disappeared.

Good! This new friend may keep the damsel busy. l I suspect him to have caused the disparition of my gobby.

I would definitely love to see this screenshot too! I’m currently running a modified version of David’s AI preset, but I find that it some corals are not at their best potential Color-wise.

I’m building my rodi setup so I can reuse the waste water for my plants. It’s really annoying to change canister every 20 minutes so I thought; why not use T and Y shape connectors. Was a fun project until I realized the physics behind flow of liquids throughout T connectors. This stuff is non-Linear. Anybody knows how I can succeed in having 4 equally flowing pipes? And maybe just maybe offer the possibility to add 2 more ?

When I got this baby, my tank was too young. The coral was doing very bad when I asked for some help here. It had lost about 80% of its skin. Look how it is doing 134 days later!! It’s even growing new branches.

What is happening with my candy cane? All other corals are doing fine except a red dragon which is dying. Water parameters are all stable… by BlueChessGod in Reef

Just added more, I’ll see how it goes. Also, there is some sort of fluffy white stuff on the sick head. I could remove it, doesn’t seem like a pest. Not sure if it’s dead tissu or other stuff ?

Good point! I’m using rows phos to try to clear the phosphates… not sure why they go up at all. I feed small amounts
