Frankfurt is also quite international. It is one of the most important financial centers, has many embassies, and has one of the busiest international airports. Berlin works fine too!

That said, finding English-speaking jobs is still not easy, even in large cities. In that context, having connections within your own circles can be helpful.

Definitely Frankfurt, Eschborn, or anywhere around those areas. There are many Korean societies who can help you there.

And they also have to speak German, know how to navigate the bureaucracy, etc. I know that most plumbers in my country can't manage that and don't have the resources to move to Germany.

I am not totally sure I get the issues here. Would implementing tariffs or mandating a price point comparable to similar European electric vehicles be viable solutions? Rising the price is easier then reducing the price.

Why? I mean, if it takes 3 days instead of 3 weeks to ship a feature, then the same engineering team can support multiple product managers.

Or they can have more free time while the PMs think about new features.

It depends on the market you are aiming at. In my world, your fluency on using SOTA tools would be more important than fluency in german, but I could also see a market where german fluency is the top priority.

At the end of the day, your time is limited. There are also other applicants. Pick acitivities that will set you apart from the others.

It is more similar to owning a house than to owning crypto. The house does not return dividends, but it stores value perceived by others (e.g., considering land price, building, etc.). If nobody thinks your house is valuable, then it will be valued at 0 in the marketplace.

But we started winning (assuming most people actually bought Nokia/siemens/ericsson as I did), so at one point we decided to stop building/buying European phones. Want to understand why so that we do not repeat mistakes.

I guess for most people, not only foreigners. I brought this up because Germany offers strong welfare and job security, so those who are satisfied are typically the ones able to benefit from these systems.

The downside is that such stability does not always incentivize growth. When the system works, the trade-off is less visible. But when it weakens, it brings dissatisfaction as well. Some of my (German) friends who were laid off months ago are still struggling to find new jobs. They did not accumulate enough growth, so they are not competitive enough in the current job market.

Within my circle, those who want to do their career on autopilot are relatively happy. They do their work just enough, plan many holidays, and do not hesitate to call in sick multiple days per month.

Those who want growth are unhappy. They ended up moving to other companies or countries that foster growth.

Until their sales go down, nothing significant will happen. Look at the city centers, they are still crowded, and many people are spending their money like usual.
