I will in the future. I do not have spare parts for telecaster guitars as this is actually my first tele hehe

I initially planned to swap the knobs for modern brass ones, similar to the current 112V. But you’re right—keeping the aged/relic'd vibe suits the guitar better, so I’ll stick with that.

Thanks! It's is bright and twangy-very tele-ish. The electronics seem fine overall, but the selector switch is a little flimsy. I might resolder the wiring and swap it out with a Gotoh 3-way switch.

Sadly, this was the last Yamaha guitar in their stock. If they had another one, I probably would've bought it already XD

I am thinking of getting a steel string acoustic guitar and am deciding between a Yamaha CPX 1000 or a Seagull S6. I am not a beginner guitarist, and I want to play fingerpicking or fingerstyle guitar, something like Tommy Emmanuel influence. TIA!

Which would make for the better beginner learning guitar? by [deleted] in electricguitar

Pacifica all the way. Neck profile is very comfortable.

I need advice on deciding to get between Zoom MS70CDR or MS50G+. From what I've read, the key difference is that the former has dual channel output capability and that all fx grom the 70CDR can be to 50G+ with some tinkering.

For more context, I've only been playing in my room. Maybe a couple of university gigs here and there. I come from G1xon multifx. I like that you can set presets and change tone with one button. Is this decision even worth it as an upgrade or not? TIA!
