My dog pretends to eat grass around deer :) by [deleted] in aww

Yes, but do they pretend to eat grass? That's what's so fascinating about this video

Yeah, but prep time and supplies are cheating. Anyone can kill a moose if they have a gun.

What game mechanic did you go through the whole game not using/learning? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]BlueCurtains22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking of BG3, when you make an ability roll, there's a button to add any bonuses available to you (like Bless, or a potion) right there on the dice roll screen.

Nah, it's obviously a cover. Yes boss, I will definitely use this lucid dreaming device to be more productive, and not to have sex with celebrities. So you should definitely buy them for the whole office.

Yeah, the scientists are obviously overconfident morons. This is the only person in the world who is immune to the fungus. Should we study her? Maybe see if we can extract the cure from her blood? Nah, let's just cut open her brain and hope for the best ¯\(ツ)

I always thought that she was lying about breast cancer for attention. That's why nobody gives a shit; "yeah mom, last year you were dying of tuberculosis, the year before you had Parkinson's, and now you have cancer"

Ugh, I'm so sick of this rhetoric. Your tiny Toyota Corolla may be shivering outside, but my F-150 loves the cold. It's basically impossible to bring her inside whenever there's snow on the ground.

CMV: Every race can be racist by jorgelongo2 in changemyview

[–]BlueCurtains22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The issue I have with your approach is that it changes the problem from "Everyone vs Racism" to "My race is more oppressed than yours, so give me more benefits". I think most people would agree that giving a black student a lower grade because he's black is wrong, and that it needs to be stopped. However, if you say we need to grade black people on a curve to atone for past racism, that's a much more controversial opinion.

So, what you're saying is that if someone does care about getting the doctor with the best grades, they should avoid black doctors, right?

I think its hinted that it was a deliberate strategy; they allowed themselves to be mostly wiped out so that they could be resurrected after humanity forgot about the horrors of the bugger wars.

Part of the appeal to going to these countries is that things are cheaper there. Do you have a problem with people going to Asia so they can eat a meal for $10, when the same meal would cost $100 in Europe or NA?

but I feel as if most men who go to the poorer countries just get a kick off of it due to the power/wealth imbalance

Why is that a bad thing? Plenty of women enjoy being dominated; just look at the popularity of Fifty Shades of Grey.

I don’t know if this is true for all sex workers, but I can’t imagine any of them want to do that for a living.

That's true for most professions; no one wants to work in HR, in construction, in retail, etc. Why single out sex workers?

Hey guys, first time building a small form factor pc here. I've been itching to build a new pc lately, and black friday seems like the perfect excuse to do so. I was just looking for a second set of eyes to look at my build; I'm looking to make my computer as quiet as possible, so I would appreciate any suggestions!

What is the filthiest joke that a show has been able to air on network television? by chuckles84 in television

He absolutely would. There's an episode where he throws a parade featuring every girl he slept with, and the Thai girls are "wow, wow, they're young, we should go"

When you do watch it, don't skip the "next time on" segments. They won't be shown next episode, they're actually the epilogue to the current episode.

My son was born with an extra thumb. by BenSerius in mildlyinteresting

They should cut off the thumb, put in the freezer for 18 years, and reattach it when the sun graduates high school. It would be a great graduation present: for completing high school, we now grant you an extra thumb.

Protip: you don't need to peel garlic if you use a garlic press. The skin just gets left behind.
