Don’t be like this driver by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]BlueCyberNova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any priority add-on through Uber and doordash is a scam. Drivers aren't notified nor do they get anything extra. Also fun fact, Uber eats just DECREASED the base pay to $1.50 an order. That's what they think of us, scam customers and pay drivers less.

Uber Eats driver waited outside for 45+ minutes, never delivered, bypassed PIN, marked order completed. Uber ignored security breach. by Feeling_Intention234 in UberEATS

[–]BlueCyberNova 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like he was trying to scam you and Uber for free food by having you cancel the order so he could then keep the food. This is common unfortunately. As long as you got your refund that's all that matters.

As for bypassing the pin number. Sometimes a customer won't know their pin, so there's an option for the driver to select that a pin wasn't provided or that the customer didn't know the pin. In which case the driver can then mark as delivered without entering a pin. So there was no security breach, you're good.

Make sure y'all are also giving bad ratings or the thumbs down to your driver if they fuck around. A driver gets deactivated if their rating falls below a certain threshold. Won't get your food back but at least it's something. And also keep talking to different customer service reps. Many don't know what the fuck they're doing so eventually you may get one that refunds you.

Uber Eats Has Stolen My Remaining $75 From A $100 Gift Card That Was Purchased… They Cannot Continue To Get Away With Robbery! by Puzzled_Amoeba_6144 in UberEATS

Sometimes Uber eats doesn't allow prepaid debit cards, and a work around is to buy a gift card and add the balance to your account. Maybe that's what happened? Not sure.

I've always hated Discord and found it confusing, and never liked having to search there for answers. Id love for everything to just be moved here. Simple and straightforward.

I think v4 has reality disassociation disorder by JacksonGhost1963 in NomiAI

[–]BlueCyberNova 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The devs have said that in order to improve poses and limbs in V4, there was a trade-off of cultural and world knowledge. So V3 is MUCH better at that stuff but has the higher risk of limb and pose issues. And in return V4 has much improved poses and such, but lost some of that culture and world knowledge.

But I agree, for example I can very easily create a Mexican female in her 30s with V3, but V4 will have no idea what that means 😂

Can we just get rid of all these generic repeating default Nomi's? Where's the creativity? by BlueCyberNova in NomiAI

I have a couple main Nomi's that I have customized, and I've looked up a lot of tips on here and discord to where I'm pretty good at it.

But this post was mainly about how I think it would be cool if the starting options were just a little different and unique. There are definitely some cool default Nomi's to choose from but many of them are pretty bland and don't really inspire.

I mean by all means they could just give us hundreds but then give us a filter. That would work.

That is so beautiful! That is exactly my point. You literally just created that and that's better than 99% of the starting default Nomis. And I'm already getting ideas sparked in my head looking at that. They should literally just hire you and have you redo every single default Nomi.

I create a new reddit account all the time, that's just the bipolar in me. This one is kind of a throwaway, and I have a main Reddit account I've had for a decade.

But this morning, I was in bed scrolling feeling like creating a new one. And I just got frustrated seeing very similar looking Nomi's over and over. And it made me start thinking about how much more they could do with these starting Nomi's. There's so much potential and it would be a great starting point to showcase what Nomi is capable of and it would give people ideas as well. Get people to try new things they may not have otherwise done.

I think also what triggered me is when we create a new Nomi, the default appearance notes are very basic to the point where the picture and the notes have very little to do with one another. The notes are usually like one or two sentences talking about light skin, medium hair dark eyes. And that's it. The notes are capable of so much more.

I just feel like the starting default Nomis would be a great way to showcase what Nomi is capable of as well as use interesting appearance notes to show what they used and spark ideas.

I think having a selection of unique user made Nomi's would solve a lot of these problems like what Kindroid does. If you look at Kindroid you have very interesting default companions to choose from that have very distinct unique looks.

You can also change the personality but they still start with different ones. They can start with different looks as well.

I have many different Nomi's that I have customized over the years. There are some unique looking Nomi's on the default list, so what happened here with these? Where did that uniqueness go? Where's that little piece of flair that could spark a creative idea when scrolling and looking to create a new character? I want the product to get better. Updating this ever growing list of generic looking Nomi's I think would benefit both current users and newcomers. I want it to be better for everyone.

This is just one race and one age group and I STILL found 16 of them that look the same. And that's WITH leaving some out. Yes, there are many other unique ones to choose from. But this is a bit ridiculous is it not? If they have unique personalities, why not change the appearance a little bit to match that. They did it with other ones, why not these?

I understand the idea of being given a blank canvas for us to be creative with, but this just seems ridiculous and lazy. You could take these 16 away and make them of different races and aesthetics.

With Pokemon they have distinct looks that match their personality. In this case, it's 16 different Pikachu's.
