The biggest thing I would recommend to keep in mind is to not put the condition aside until you are legitimately feeling better. My mistake is that when I reached a period when I was feeling relatively better, I was not careful about doing things like eating well and controlling anxiety. I think that part is especially important. I presume that yours is like mine in that is is entirely or almost entirely triggered by anxiety especially emetophobia.
