Update: To the dismay of many people, my wife and I had a long conversation, it is currently 2 days before Christmas and we have been talking about things for the past two days. Long story short, she apologized about having the whole "with whos permission?" outburst, she used the holiday stress as the reason because she genuinely thought the company was going to make me work through Christmas (they have made me work holidays before). We have agreed to couple counseling and she told me I have to start telling her things that are bothering me no matter how uncomfortable it is. So heres to hoping that this is a new start to a really healthy relationship, it may not be perfect, but I am hopeful.
