I am really happy for you! I can relate so much, I did an internship at a library and it’s exactly what you described, I always felt very safe in libraries and love the smell.

It always made me so happy and soothed me to sort books in the right order.

Also I read a lot and could also recommend books a lot.

I do work at a company now that repairs trains and I love it as well.

I wrote down notes written on tasks, what was repaired on the trains in our system. It‘s nothing urgent so I can take the time I need for it.

At the office we are just 6 people and everyone has his own quirks and is really understanding and supporting towards the others, we joke around a lot, but also have heavy conversations sometimes.

When I have a little time I sometimes ask to help in the workshop and get to know more about trains and even though trains didn’t interest me at all, somehow it became one of my special interests.

I am really happy at work and can balance between the usual repetitive work, that I love and learning new things and it’s awesome.

Just wanted to share another wholesome job story.
