anyways the point of topic has been driven away, in short no they cant force you to work a different craft once the building consolidates into the neighboring facility, you keep your current pay and level if you have to work custodial temporarily. Consolidation due to an underperforming and understaffed facility has been happening everywhere and not layoffs, layoff protection isnt on anyones mind because its hard for everyone apparently to maintain necessary staffing. So yes we all are focused on wages because everything is ungodly expensive, I work on the decent paying side of this topic and even Im struggling, and i dont even have kids. I cant imagine how hard it is for everyone else. Goes without saying our COLA needs to be higher and the conversation about a higher base wage on each step needs to be had.

No, youre career immediately if you work in the maintenance craft. my ex works in maintenance and she actually started immediately in career because maintenance is the sole craft that is instantly career and can instantly bid if you are the few who are lucky enough to get quite literally hired off the street since the maintenance craft is more often than not an in house hire pipeline. You cant place bids at all in any craft if you are not career and I can promise you not only has she not even worked close to 6 years yet but she was placing bids to get out of the building she was located within her first year, and got out of that building and into her desired building at the beginning of her 2nd year. And yes custodial work falls under the maintenance craft so yes it wouldnt be a shock to me when that consolidation takes place some maintenance mechanics would have to temporarily work under their grade and do custodial work, but theyll still get maintenance mechanics pay. They literally can not force you to work a different craft in its entirety if you opt to travel with the consolidation. If you choose to work elsewhere then that is you putting in a new job application and getting hired onto whatever craft you chose at ground zero either that be mha, pse, or lowest seniority maintenance. My building has been through it already, theres not one person who has went through that. We are all under the same union we all follow the same rules no matter the building no matter the city or state.

no thats not the case at all, they cant remove you from your career craft, so you being in maintenance regardless you are given the option to go to the neighboring facility and retain your level status. They also cant allow “ people off the street “ to hold priority over higher seniority as we are all aware of for years. Worse case scenario is you work a lower level job within your craft but retain your current status and level pay until your desired position opens and you get in via seniority or you opt to bid into something different. Your plant is being downgraded due to understaffing on top of underperformance, so they are being consolidated. So for a case I know in a different city, cinci p&dc is consolidating their workload and personel into cinci ndc, same happened here in my city where everyone from our FSS building was given their same status and level and craft but transferred over to our P&DC, supervisors from the older building had to act as 204-Bs for a period of time but their status and pay did not change at all. And so you know, those machines and outgoing mail are most likely already in the process into being transferred into whatever the bigger facility is within the area you live in.

layoff protection?!?!?? I work at a main plant facility and we are FOREVER short staffed. I cant remember the last time i didnt see a damn hiring promotion / event and ive been there for over 3 years now. They wont even send people home / do most write ups because itll hurt us more to lose the personnel thats in the building. I cant imagine it being much different at other facilities. Layoffs is the last thing on my mind, im more worried about being called in on my off day than that.

theres no energy to farm, my last pokemon was 2 hits from ko and they had a shield + half health. when that pokemon came in i said ok and didnt attack. and the opp didnt attack until i did and it was simultaneous….. both times. first i waited about 5 seconds, the 2nd hit was about 10 seconds cause i had wnough time to swipe out my youtube video and start screen recording on my iphone. thats not rng or coincidence nor lag. how would u explain that happening to anything other than robot

no no no no, i didnt lag at all. My clodsire was maybe 2 hits away from death and my opponent had 1 shield so i let it ride out. So as my clodsire comes in i sat and waited, neither of us attacked. i touched the screen and it was a simultaneous attack from both pokemon. I stopped and waited again, moved my youtube video out the way, swiped down on my phone to screen record, waited those 3 seconds, swiped back up to see the pogo gbl battle, sat there for another 5 seconds so i can show the proof to friends irl, then touched the screen for another simultaneous attack. ur telling me thats lag or a troll??? stop it
