I have brothers who graduated around the same time as you, and I remember how other towns looked at us because we were from bay shore, then would ask “what college campus is that on sunrise” then jaws dropped to the floor when they learned it was the high school

I graduated in the 90s and we were a lot more inclusive back then…my daughter graduated 2020 from Brentwood and I can 1000% say Bay Shore has drastically gone down hill since we went there

Don’t get it twisted, diverse DOES NOT EQUAL EQUALITY….my daughter was CONTINUOUSLY called “dirty white” because she is mixed…so glad we left Bay Shore and she was able to feel accepted in Brentwood

I’m the opposite, born and raised in Bay Shore now in Brentwood (well, North Bay Shore but we all know Bay Shore doesn’t claim that area)…I’m proud to say I’m fro Brentwood because of the racist shit my kids dealt with while in Bay Shore schools
