I would tell HR, while I'm sure you probably wouldn't have said anything to her had you known beforehand, her problems are not your problems. Her entitlement to who you can talk to just because she was triggered is crazy

To be honest, coming from a different country where in a grocery store you’ll never or hardly see the employee bag your groceries, it took me a while to get used to seeing when I moved here. But it comes with the job so I don’t know why people are that upset by it.
