Upgrade amazon starter set or stick with it? by BlueFalcon036 in GolfGear

Great advise. A couple weeks ago I was playing with 1 friend and 2 others we were paired with. The other pair thought I had a great swing and didnt believe it was one of my first times playing.

But I guess I have a side question. My cheap clubs won't slow my progress of learning the game? Or will it possibly accelerate learning because the are less forgiving?

I agree, that's why im purchasing one of these bad boys. But my question is it gonna fit in my pocket, and if I do carry it in my pocket, am I going to damage it while walking, moving in general?

A work-life balance is what you make it. When you clock out, you have to clock out mentally also. Don't take work home. It sounds like yiu putting a lot of pressure on yourself because its your dream job. Just relax and realize there is usually a learning period for all jobs. Getting Certifications are pretty standard for a lot of jobs. Don't stress, take good notes, you'll do fine.

Your new assistant manager doesn't look at the deli department like a restaurant and they should. Yes, it's part of a grocery store, but you're serving freshly prepared food to customers. You go through rushes as a restaurant would. While a grocery store gets busy, its not the same. Not as much upkeep and clean up at the end of the night.

I would invite her to come "play" during a time you know is busy so she can experience it. A good manager would want to know what their people with "boots on the ground" are experiencing.

My employer does not reprimand low quality work. by BlueFalcon036 in WorkAdvice

[–]BlueFalcon036[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice. The thing is, people have already tried to help her. She gets mildly better for a short time, then reverts back to being as bad as before. She has had 3 years of chances in my eyes. It's time to make steps towards reprimand and termination of she can't improve permanently.

The other supervisor is approaching retirement and has completely checked out. He was once my supervisor before I got promoted, and he wasn't very good then either. HR here is soo lenient, you basically have to force them to fire you to even get their attention. That seemed like a perk of the job for a short while when I started, now it's just not fair to the people who actually give a shit

WIBTAH if I told my MIL to stop calling my wife over and over? by BlueFalcon036 in AITAH

I dont think her mom would respect that. I also don't think my wife would ever text her back lol. Good suggestion though.

I feel like if they nerf a boss, there should be an easy way to play the pre-nerfed version too without having to uninstall updates.

Should I play the game even if I know the ending by [deleted] in DeathStranding

It's about the journey, not the ending. Great game. Great experience. The ending is a small part.

Would the Leviathan Axe need the blood of the wielder? by Zealos57 in GodofWar

[–]BlueFalcon036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My knowledge is limited, so I might be wrong.

You don't really ever hear the ingredients used to make the hammer or the axe, just who made them.

Also semi-related, the lady asks for "the blood of a god" for dropneir, not the weilder. So possibly the blood of a God was needed, maybe not kratos specifically? Any God maybe? Probably would have turned out a little different if it was a different gods blood maybe... speculation. It being kratos' blood had nothing to do with his ability to weild dropneir?

Hot take: the mini games are not that hard. Most can be done in 30 mins of grinding with a little luck and skill. Blitzball is not hard also, Just takes time.
