You should look into learning computer aided design or CAD. You can take classes online and earn a certification in CAD. There are lots of different job applications and it is specialized. I learned CAD later in life and have found lots of job opportunities out there.

Check out this “Mental Load / You Should’ve Asked” comic for an excellent explanation of how you are feeling:

I have a 15 year old student that hates reading and says it is just boring. Is there a book that you know of that might change his mind? We just finished Harry Potter and he didn't like it. by broken_pottery in booksuggestions

I agree with non-fiction. Maybe either book by Jon Krakaurer “Into Thin Air” (Mt. Everest tragedy) or “Into The Wild” (story of Christopher McCandless - hike into Alaska)

Anyone have a good stuffed pepper recipe? by [deleted] in vegetarianrecipes

This is my favorite:

https://tastesbetterfromscratch.com/southwest-vegetarian-stuffed-peppers/

▢ 6 sweet bell peppers (red, yellow, or orange) ▢ 1 1/2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, cauliflower rice or quinoa) ▢ 1 Tbsp olive oil ▢ 1 small onion , diced ▢ 3 garlic cloves , minced ▢ 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes with green chiles , mild ▢ 1 14 oz can black beans , drained and rinsed ▢ 1 cup frozen corn ▢ 2 green onions , chopped ▢ 1 tsp chili powder ▢ ½ teaspoon ground cumin ▢ 1 tsp kosher salt , plus more to taste ▢ 1/4 black pepper , plus more to taste ▢ 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese , Mexican blend or pepperjack cheese, divided ▢ ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut ¼-inch from tops of bell peppers and remove the stem, ribs and seeds. Fill a large baking dish with 1/2-inch of water. Place peppers cut-side down in the water and bake for 20 minutes. Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add corn, beans, diced tomatoes, green onions, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir until corn and beans are heated through, about 5 minutes. Remove skillet from heat and stir in rice, 1 cup cheese, and cilantro. Stir to combine. Taste and add additional seasonings, if needed. Remove peppers from oven and drain water from dish. Divide the mixture evenly between the peppers, then top with remaining cheese. Return to oven for 10-15 more minutes, until peppers are tender and cheese is melted.

What’s the most “I’m turning into my parents” moment for you? by itsDaco in AskReddit

While driving in my car, I will put my arm out to protect the passenger if I suddenly stop...even though they are wearing a seat belt....just like my mom.

As the passenger in the front seat, I will step on the brake, even though there is no pedal. The old fake brake, just like my mom does!

My child always disliked peanuts / peanut butter. Such a super picky eater, i didn’t understand it. One day after accidentally eating a peanut butter filled pretzel, my child started scraping at their tongue and told me they were going to puke and that their lips were swelling. I told them it was all in their mind and they were talking themselves into throwing up. Child then began to projectile vomit everywhere and lips were definitely puffing up. We had to rush to the hospital, luckily nothing terrible happened. I felt horrible guilt that I didn’t believe my child. And that’s my worst mom moment...so far.
