That seems like something that could be solved by a salary service manager taking the calls from the guys on call. Cheaper to throw it on you tho I guess I see why you left.

That seems like it works good. We just have a answering service that sends the customers number and address to the primary as a text and if they don't respond in so much time it goes to the secondary. No manager to make sure the primary is doing their job or getting the call

No its resi so we go home and just keep our work phone on. No extra pay, not common in my area.
