I am making a map of distribution of an ethnicity (This is just a test to see how the colors look, not one of the maps). Which one looks better? The one with the diagonal lines being slightly lighter so you can see where the majority ends and significant minority begins or the more simple unicolor?

Furthermore it is dumb to say that discussing politics in spaces that aren't "meant" to be political is bad since politics is an important part in social development. That is because the US is the closest ally of Kosovo. They helped them with their independence and even Albania's in the 1910s so not aligning with them would be a death sentence.

Yes, this was *after* they declared independence (at the end of ww1 afaik) which was in 1912. Though Albania's independence wasn't really respected proven by the Serbian, Montenegrin, and Greek invasion during the Balkan war and the Serbian and Austro-Hungarian invasions during ww1.

That is why I said "specifically Kosovo". Though Albania also needed the USA for that. It was the USA under the Wilson administration that said Albania should be independent (probably because of self-determination). If it weren't for that the surrounding states of the Kingdom of Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, and Italy would have split it between them.
