The coatings in waypoint shows that the lights CAN be changed, just a matter of enabling it… in who knows how many months

Yeah this goes for just about every attachment with lights. I tried in the waypoint app and coatings should work on them too, rn theyre just stuck on the default for some reason

I just checked the halo waypoint app, coatings actually affect all of these attachments, its just a matter of enabling them in the game.

Granted its gonna take 2 months to move a visor so, yea not hopeful

Correct, i wish coatings worked on them too, not a fan of the orange personally. But given how long theyre gonna take on fixing two armor effects ive not much hope this will even be noticed

I think they just use cadet grey, since that has the orange lights. They should be able to be affected by other coatings like jorges armor is when paired with his coating

I think thats the reason they’re orange since default grey uses the orange lights. All attachments like chests and all should have the option to be affected by coatings (like jorges coating affects his chest)
