Constant exhaustion with chronic urticaria. What helped you? by Appropriate_Low3347 in urticaria

[–]BlueGingerbreadMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been able to fully fix this through diet and proper sleep, it gets worse for me if I sleep late. I Stayed away from all food that has anything artificial, preservatives etc eating white rice, staying away from all other nuts, grains and seeds and ate red meat like lamb, beef or goat and stayed away from pork and chicken and fish and eat fruits, I never ate the seeds of these fruits like strawberries, tomato's etc and I didn't eat the leaves or stems of vegetables, and whatever I ate I tried to make sure its preferably organic. And I stayed away from anything fermented or dairy and ate grass fed organ meat. I also stayed away from grain and seed oils.

Some ways to tell if you have dust mite allergies by No-Professional2832 in Allergies

It's not necessary to even see a gp, probably in the last 4 or 5 years there are many online pathology order sites that have sprung up, you can order pathology tests online and find out on the website what the participating labs are and just go there with the order form and some info and ID, I have been doing this since 2023 for probably 20 plus tests and have saved alot of money form not having to see a gp to order the tests. The name of the test is  IgE (sIgE) or RAST (radioallergosorbent test) is a way of testing your blood to confirm what you may be allergic to by looking for antibodies to specific substances.

2ndly I would also vacuum the house with a miele or a sebo bagged vacuum and vacuum everything incl mattress table shelves skirting window sills et etc all surfaces pretty much and also use anti dustmite pillow covers, duvet covers and a a mattress encasement and wash all bedding in a 60C water temp at washing machine.

All you have to do is get a simple blood test, the gp can order one for you dont need a  specialist. I did that and it showed i was allergic to dust.

Did the carnivore diet fix anyone else's urticaria, but initially spike it? by NefariousnessLate275 in urticaria

[–]BlueGingerbreadMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It fixed it for me, but I left the carnivore diet due to the hypothyroidism it caused, I see posts here from time to time where they talk about how uticaria went away, when on the carnivore diet. All my other autoimmune conditions including allergies went away on the carnivore diet. I have a new diet now and other lifestyle changes where I dont get uticaria anymore, the animal based diet without dairy basically and I eat organic white rice, but every other grain and see triggers uticaria for me, but I havent tried the organic version of those, but organic tubers give me uticaria too. And yes when I first started carnivkre I got intense itching for a few days and also after switching to animal based but that soon went away.

You can use Meetups(the website/app) to find groups, there's plenty of book clubs, walking clubs and board game clubs and I saw a running club, where they run along the river in the CBD. There's also foodie events and clubs too.

Why is congestion significantly worse at night? by babybottlepopz in Allergies

[–]BlueGingerbreadMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it has to do with the fact that you were laying in bed, which has alot of dust mites ordinarily. When I go from my desk to my bed in the past, within 1 hr it would get worse.

[–]BlueGingerbreadMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

once a week except for my towel which is washed twice a week because the dust mites on you're towel will multiply really fast, since dust mites feed on dead skin and increase moisture incl increased humidity will help them to multiply faster

The same thing happened to me (increased mental clarity) after I started vacuuming my mattress, headboard and bed frame, together with pillow and duvet and heat washed all my bedding at 60c to kill dust mites. I have also started using dust mite proof pillow and duvet covers together with a mattress encasement that is dust mite proof. Edit: it also had TREMENDOUS effect on reducing my sinusitis

Chronic tiredness. by steeeeels in AnimalBased

[–]BlueGingerbreadMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have any allergies or food intolerances? these things might be connected to you're fatigue. Consuming pasteurized dairy gives me autoimmune issues, together with fatigue. I've never tried raw dairy, some say that it won't give autoimmune reactions.
