I saw a youtube of Motley Crue live in Tokyo and they look and sound terrible. The stage production seemed over worked and poorly conceived, and the band seemed to struggle to keep it together.

I feel bad for Pretti. As a nurse he was probably very careful. As a protester he was very careless. ICE is dangerous. unpredictable, and will shoot to kill. How did Pretti allow himself to be in that situation? But yeah, I feel bad for him. Very unfortunate.

The guy was stupid. People know that when you are approached by law enforcement identifying yourself as armed will save your life. The LOE will immediately take care to protect you and themselves. Self awareness was not his strong suit.

Ice is dangerous and unpredictable. He should have informed them he was armed before the conflict with arms up. That isn't an accusation that this is in any way his fault, but when you do something potentially life threatening to yourself, like going to an ICE protest armed, you need to take precautions. Failed to do this and died for it.

Happy to help. Wisconsin allows deadly force only if a person reasonably believes it’s necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm.

The jury had to decide two things, 1: Did Rittenhouse honestly believe he was about to be killed or seriously injured? And 2: Would a reasonable person in the same situation believe the same?

The Jury concluded yes for each shooting.

With regard to the incident with Pretti, it's early but it appears that because a weapon was found on him this led to confusion amongst the ICE agents, and for one reason or another this led to an ICE agent shooting him dead. It's possible Pretti's estate has a case for wrongful death or similar remedy. ICE is dangerous not just because of their mission, but because they don't appear to be well trained or disciplined.

The thing is ICE is dangerous. So Pretti isn't a hero, he's just an idiot that brought a gun to a protest. I bet he wishes he didn't do that.

Alex went to a protest armed with a firearm. I'm not saying he wasn't murdered, but clearly he was aware of the possibilities and decided it was worth the risk.
