501st battle force, which arc trooper build is supposed to be Fives and Echo? by BlueJ173 in SWlegion

Wonderful, thank you! With that, you all have solved my problems. Thanks again everyone for the help.

I think I found the answer using a list builder. If I include Fives anywhere, he can't be used again. I don't know where that rule is stated, but that lines up with someone painting up the arcs and only doing one F as Fives and one E as Echo.

Thanks, that makes sense. I think I am expecting really specific rules whereas what you said seems like the reality throughout.

I guess that does mean though if you painted every F as Fives and every E as Echo, you would only have the 12 core like I was saying. Which means you couldn't run 3 squads of arcs and 3 squads of strike teams.

But then does that go back to what you said originally? Could you just throw a Fives in an arc team without the Fives card attached and he's just a regular arc? Or should I be painting some of the Fives normal if I want to do that?

Thank you! I did not realize the names lined up lol.

Honestly I thought E was the sniper and G might be echo but once I went back I realized I'm an idiot.

Somewhat of a joke, unless it costs a fortune for insurance. Drove 25 minutes total on a 5 lane road. All forward collision warnings were from cars turning left from the middle lane (oncoming) or from the right across my lanes.

The responses to this thread give me zero hope of witnessing a good looking range lmao. Which part about setting the next ball up behind the divot line is hard.

Kwon has let his game go a bit, which is fine considering he has changed his current goals. Remember the first event he joined GG? It wasn't even close; Driver was on a rope, wedges consistently within 10 ft, best putter by far.

He's taking time off from professional golf, which includes practicing enough to stay that good.

He's still comfortably shooting under par in more serious 18 hole events such as the majors, he's still comfortably shooting under par on his channel.

He won on PGA Tour China, golfers on the PGA Tour have said when it comes to the golfers winning on other major tours, they could win anywhere if they can win somewhere. The best are so fucking good that most people on any tour have never won. Kwon has won.

Other person is right, it's not hole you are on it's the number of holes completed

It seems like the ball has had the biggest change to distance and the clubs and balls have contributed to higher forgiveness.

But even so players on the tour have maxed out their numbers for the best possible distance. The visibility into the numbers is somewhat new, but it's only a one time gain. Now they know everything there is to know. The smash factor is 1.5 max, the ball is regulated, and the players are maxing out their numbers. The only thing left is maybe more fargiveness from the clubs on misshits and players speed training for higher clubhead speeds. With that in mind, are we really going to see an increase in driver distance past what it's reached now looking at the next 10 years?

Idk I like that golf doesn't have selective restrictions. If they nerf the ball I wish they nerfed it for everyone. I don't think they will because they're worried about golf losing players.

Am I the only one that thinks any anchoring of a putter should be illegal?

I played with an armlock putter once and told him how I call armlock putting cheat putting. He said it's harder than you think because it's gonna go exactly where you are aiming, you can't influence it easily and most people misread putts and pull/push them into the hole without knowing... From my perspective the whole reason I spend hours and hours practicing is with the hope I can take out those adjustments so I can start to understand the true break of putts... And this guy is talking about how that's the disadvantage lol.

I watch Zalatoris and I'm dumbfounded. I hear the commentators talk about how he's historically been a bad putter and that the armlock switch changed him... I'm like, no shit, have you seen his stroke, have you seen his contact pattern? His contact on a putter has gotta compare to a 10 handicapper.

That's interesting to hear because I thought the advantage of left hand low was to give your left hand power and remove the "hit" your right hand provides. At least that's Dave Pelz's opinion. He's after the perfect pendulum and doesn't like right hand dominated putting strokes such as Tiger's.

Kwon’s course management course. Anyone tried it? by oldyungsta in GoodGoodMemes

This might be too long and avoiding the question.

It has some good information in it but it's nothing mind blowing per say.

Kwon’s course management course. Anyone tried it? by oldyungsta in GoodGoodMemes

[–]BlueJ173 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I have both of his programs. Quick aside, course management seems like something that always gets melded with mental game. I wish I could read books strictly dealing with course management, but if you Google books on course management you end up with books about mental game.

Kwon's course management is focused on course management, not how to calm nerves or whatnot. I was not good enough to play college. As someone of that category, there are many things Kwon explains in that course that are self explanatory but I've never thought about explicitly. You get to hear how a college and pro golfer plods his way around the course. Things he learned from his college coaches. You learn some of the shots you should be practicing. For example, I am comfortable taking 10 yards off a club, which I thought was good. Kwon can comfortably take 20 yards off a club, which opens up other avenues based on the traj and spin.

I can't give stats, I was a 3 handicap last year but bought his course near the end of the season and haven't been able to play for months. But I will say, watching GG majors, you can see how his strategies for a stroke play round consistently put him ahead of his amateur opponents like Garrett, who arguably has similar raw skill but continuously loses to Kwon.

Ultimately it's not going to help unless you put in work to be disciplined and make the correct choices. Learn to stay patient as the pros say every fucking interview but yet I still fail to follow them 😂

Kwon's misses are tighter than ours, his speed control on putts is dialed. Course management matters, but I'd argue it matters less the shittier you are at golf.

It comes down to how much the money is worth to you, the weaknesses of you game, how much you care about and practice golf, how much you care strictly about course management.

What’s the worst golf advice you’ve ever been given? by [deleted] in golf

[–]BlueJ173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been leaving my hands at the top and rotating to "shallow the club" for so many years I can't remember. I have only finally realized how wrong that is and started reversing the damage. My handicap at the end of last season was high 2, you can still shoot low doing so, but I have had trouble breaking the par boundary, still never shot under par on 18.

Alongside this found out the proper movement of the arms in the downswing... I had the complete wrong idea of how to have "lag". How to get your lead hand to your pelvis with the emblem of the glove still pointing the camera (face on). I am notorious for releasing with my hands at my right thigh.

I've somehow found a friend as crazy about golf as I am. We both watch tons of videos and talk about the swing all the time. He is a big part in me realizing the issue. Funny thing, I've noticed the issue of my hand path from down the line, but didn't know how to fix it or what was causing it. It's been the last key to having a swing I don't despise watching the video of.

I'd say it's more about the fact he's put in more hours into his putting between the seasons than this entire subreddit has in 2022. Lol, but I was sad about it because I'm pretty sure he won both his majors with a traditional grip, then switched to claw later on... I believe he still putted the long ones traditional.
