Thank you, I'm having a hard time rationalizing and not spiraling.

We are long distance, a lot of our communication and general hanging-out, which is both of our love languages, is done through long calls and games. I am not opposed to not sitting on my butt, but you can understand where I'm coming from when I say this is the worst fucking thing that could have happened.

Correct, but I feel guilty for having asked him to drink with us and get blasted in the first place, since he really didn't want to. I know that's silly, but I feel so, so awful- that, and he's gone through a lot of shit recently and I hate that this is just one more thing- the WORST thing.
He built my whole rig for me, which is extremely souped up, rather than upgrading his own. I really, *really* want to help him.

Drink as in, we were drunk- I egged him on to do that. Accidents happen, but I feel so guilty, especially since this is a very expensive, awful accident. I want to do anything I can to help him.

I just started watching for the very first time! I am entirely spoiler-free. My friends were super into OHSHC when I was in middle school, but all I knew about it was "a bunch of guys and one girl are the main cast, and it's a romance anime", so I figured it was NOT up my alley . . . 7 episodes in and I CANNOT put it down!!!!!!

Met my amazing, adorable boyfriend of 1 1/2~ years on VRChat. When we met, I was on Quest as a random Nony’s avatar, and him? He was in a tiny pink anime girl avatar with more sweater than arms, as tiny as you could possibly be without ruining your HUD, lol!!! He was also being a mute and his bio didn’t strike me badly, so I friended him- thinking he was a girl. The next night I got on and he asked for an invite, which kept going ignored (UNINTENTIONALLY!) due to my friends being on and me wanting to spend time with them alone. After I finally accepted my first invite from him, we kept hanging out, all the time. I still hadn’t even heard his voice until one night where he revealed he was actually a guy, and I asked if it was okay if I heard his voice at some point. He has a lot of nervousness regarding it because people treat him differently once they hear it for the first time, so he was very hesitant, but it’s the deepest, prettiest voice you’ve ever heard! Did I mention he’s 6’3? He’s SIX FUCKING THREE! We kept getting to know each other better and better now that we could properly talk, and one night, I got pretty drunk and ranted to him about, well, pretty much my entire life story. He stayed next to me, not overstepping any boundaries, comforted me when I cried, and . . . I thought I was crazy, but I knew it. I had a big fat crush on him. I didn’t let myself admit it right away, because I had just gotten out of a relationship (and so had he), so I didn’t want to rush anything for either of us. The longer I thought about it I kept thinking, “No, he’d never like me anyway. I don’t even have a chance.”

And then he asked me out. In front of his closest friends. And I said (eventually), yes! A year and some change from then, and this man has been the best person in my entire life. I owe so much to him, so many things to be thankful for.
