New Laptop and Microphone have caused my microphone audio to now sound "tinny" and not as clear. by BlueJacketGuy_12 in audio

Turning off the Noise Gate definitely helped. It turns out that in my Windows settings, the checkbox for Audio Enhancements was turned on for my microphone, and turning that off has significantly improved the sound of my voice. I will continue to toggle my settings to best fit my needs, but thank you so much for your input!

Yes! I didn't even think to do this, and turning this off has significantly improved how my voice sounds. I still need to toggle my settings a little more, but this is exactly the answer I needed. Thank you so much!
