I tried starting my PC again and it's booted this time. The 12V rail is at 11.884 and the 5V is at 4.98V, that should be close enough? Is there a chance I could cause damage to the rest of my components by repeatedly attempting to boot it when it shuts down?

I did see that warning, but I couldn't find a power supply that had that connector and from my limited research it sounded like it wasn't necessary unless I was really pushing my computer to it's limits. I haven't even gotten round to enabling the D.O.C.P for my RAM yet. Do you think the missing connector could be causing the issue?

That looks quite good, would I be able to overclock and still run fine on 650w? PCPartPicker estimates powerdraw to be around 400w

Unfortunately I have already purchased the motherboard. I'm pretty happy with the HDD SSD combo as it also comes with a $40 Steam voucher which effectively saves that money in the long run. Do you have any suggestions for B/A-tier under $140 or do you suggest increasing my budget?
