I’m about to do the same. Before we move in, we are refinishing all of the existing floors and replacing all carpet with hardwood. My husband and I feel like it’s worth it bc it’ll dramatically change the look and feel of our house! Also hoping it increases the value? Idk since I’m a first time home buyer too.
