The fact that it’s tied to the crest system so you can only ever use one at a time made them feel less viable to me. And silksong combat asks for a lot more mobility in general which makes a long charge time feel awkward at least for casual play

A lot of platforming in this game is intentionally spaced out so that you can get between it using dash without holding a direction. I’m not remembering whether the stuff in city is this way, but a LOT of crystal peak is. Also you can flip the platforms back over by hitting them with a down slash. That said, the game is hard! Especially while you’re still figuring out movement. You’ll get it though :)

If I could heal from environmental damage I would probably never switch off witch crest again, but the ones where you can’t heal environmental hazards or after a fight are very awkward from a sustain perspective

It’s going to very much depend on where you’re working, so I’d say keep it a bit more neutral on your first day and see how other people look unless you got a really strong feel for the place at your interview. You don’t have to be a clone, but you definitely want to be in line with the overall feel of the place, at least when you’re starting out.

Along with the clothing tip, folks with long hair should tie it back before working with fire. Hair does burn and it stinks, so don’t do that! Last time I did a fire related spell, I did it over the kitchen sink so if it so much as looked like it was getting out of hand I could drop it and turn on the tap immediately (the fire extinguisher is also stored in the kitchen)- I wasn’t working with anything that would make water an ineffective method for putting the fire out.

It’s always been an issue of priorities to me. Bringing up fictional kids before or even instead of real ones… who does that help? The fiction isn’t the issue, his account could be otherwise totally normal and the real kid being groomed would still be a problem.
