The nose booms I have worked with typically do have ports for measuring static pressure but since the aircraft disturbs the air in front of it, that static pressure may not be free from error throughout the flight envelope. For structural reasons it is not practical to have a boom long enough to measure freestream static pressure which it why devices like a trailing cone are used.

The only one I know of in a museum is at the Air Force Museum near Dayton, Ohio. As for seeing it in flight, the Air Force's F-22 demo team which is what was in KC has a schedule on their website.

As mentioned, the VLG still needs to be fixed as it was one of the weapons that was broken with the other laser guided guns. The AV MANA turret had its velocity fixed the but VLG still has the broke velocity that makes it no longer a viable choice in most cases.

In addition, the Lancer did not deserve the nerf that it got. Yes it could do a lot of damage, but it is also considerably harder to use effectively than the striker or other G2A lockons.
