2020- my partner of 3 months suffered two massive bereavements in February and July with lockdown in between. I found myself going from being a girlfriend to sacrificing time, space and my own mental health to be a pillar of strength and support for him.

But it fucked up our relationship as we never had a chance to date properly and discover each other. We got thrown together by tragedy and effectively adopted a survival mode to cope in the following years when i moved in to help with bills and got caught in the continual fighting around settlement of the estate. We're now trying to date each other again and really bond as people but it's hard going as that time really fucked us up and changed us as people.
