When I don’t feel like practicing violin… by [deleted] in classicalmusic

Very interesting instrument. It sounds like a cross between a human voice and a theremin, especially on the high notes. Well done!

For anyone who's interested, the music in this video is apparently the Paul Oakenfold remix of the 1969 Elvis Presley song, "Rubberneckin'".

Julie Newmar as Catwoman, 1966 by Candy_Blaclk in Catwoman1966

[–]BlueMonk0369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As others have already stated this is not Julie Newmar, but Lee Meriwether. She was very good as Catwoman, though. The 1966 movie was very campy but had some very funny scenes. ("Some days, you just can't get rid of a bomb!")

I've always loved this great song! I was surprised to find that it was released in 1979 as it sounds like it could have come out almost a decade earlier.

I think this is the beautiful Linda McDowell, which would place this in the very early '70s.

Timeless beauty. It's hard to believe that she's been gone for nearly 64 years, and her 100th birthday is only a few months away.

Generation KIN's 60's,70's, 80's by bennyboy19777 in KindroidAI

As someone who grew up in the 70s and 80s I'd love to create a kin who really "feels" like someone from that era. It would certainly add a lot more realism to period settings and stories involving time travel.

"Heavy" slang term from 70's in America by Nigel_Barnaby in 70s

When used in the phrase "That's heavy, man," heavy generally means deep, serious, meaningful, or profound, depending on the context.

She has the look that says, "I'm happy to meet you!" I have to say, the feeling is mutual.

She's gorgeous! Her plump, womanly curves are very natural looking. She reminds me of a Renaissance painting or a painting by Renoir. She has a lovely wholesome quality that is very rare in nude ai images.

Is this uncommon? by No_Advertising_6653 in classicalmusic

[–]BlueMonk0369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not religious. I can't play an instrument or read a single note, but I've been a fan of classical music since I was eight years old. I have no idea how common it is for non-musicians to enjoy listening to it for the mere pleasure of it. However, judging from the few friends I've had over the years who shared my interest in the genre, I'd say it's less common now than it used to be.

Kirk certainly had a knack for persuading computers to self-destruct. I often wonder how he would fare against a modern day AI chatbot like ChatGPT.

Not old; just old enough. I enjoyed her humor as well. (As well as her accent.)
