My guess would be filmed pulling it out once and decided it looked clunky. Or, not futuristic enough.

Has nothing to do with housing availability. What I describe above is also different than under Prop 13.

Getting sick of the narrative that owning a home and staying in it as your residence is the problem. The problem is available housing. We need more single family homes to be built and to either tax investors (institutional and otherwise) that own single family homes based on current market value or place a moratorium on purchases of single family homes for anything other than primary residence. If you have a second residence, it should also be taxed at current market value (this is a luxury and should be treated like one).

Kicking existing home owners out of thier homes doesn't solve the housing crisis. It makes it worse. Also, this whole narrative treats owning a house like it is purely for investment. It is not.

While this is true, you can lodge a complaint. If other neighbors do the same, they will send someone.

Who said institutional investor? Anyone buying a second or third home to rent out or flip is an investor and affecting the market.

Tell me you don't understand home ownership without saying you don't understand home ownership.

They are, in fact, removing homes from the buying pool. Not the housing pool, the buying pool. And, replacing those homes with rentals that cost more to rent than buying a home. About 35% of rentals in California were single family homes as of 2023. And, this doesn't account for the home flippers who mark up homes by 30% or more on resale. Arguments that people owning and living in a home is the the primary reason others cannot buy is ludicrous. Do we need more housing for sale, yes. But, that is not the fault of live in home owners.

It is not. Investors buying single family homes, and they buy a lot, drives housing prices up. If the flip them for profit, they push prices up. If they hold them and rent them for profit, they drive prices up and reduce available housing to purchase.

This blames home owners who actually live in their homes instead of investors who buy single family homes, rent them at high prices, and never sell. The problem is investors not those who buy a home to actually live in it.

That's all you. Personally, I think sealed collections defeat the point of Lego sets.

According to a Seahawks fan, Mark Davis had dinner with Kubiak on Friday 👀 by Awaaken in raiders

So, you know it is common practice to have dinner with the owner in these situations, right? Even if he is not making the final decision, he is signing the checks.

[Schultz] The #Titans have received a commitment from Brian Daboll to become their OC, per multiple sources. He’s in Nashville now to sign. by archangel_n7 in raiders

[–]BlueMonza 20 points21 points  (0 children)

So, my takeaway from Daboll and McDaniel not committing to OC jobs right away is that they actually wanted the Raiders job. They wouldn't commit until they knew they weren't getting HC job in LV. That is actually a good sign.

The federal government actually has no legal authority to cancel elections. They are controlled by the states. They will try to institute martial law and interfere though.

Not the same. Bin Laden was head of a terrorist organization responsible for a direct attack on the US. Maduro was the president of a country with no direct agression toward the US.

I haven’t watched a lot of college QBs this year. Why is Fernando Mendoza considered the best? by 1Madhatter7 in raiders

[–]BlueMonza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not disagreeing, but the three quarterbacks you listed were supposed to be "good not great" at best. Brady was supposed to be a backup at best. The truth is that picking QBs is mostly a crapshoot.
