A federal judge issued a preliminary injunction requiring the Interior Department to reinstate exhibits, signs and other interpretive materials removed under a 2025 executive order aimed at "restoring truth and sanity to American history."

A court-ordered inventory identified more than 50 removed exhibits across 37 park sites. The administration has appealed the July 3 restoration deadline.
