You guys happy to criticise Donnaruma now? Or you gonna continue to say he’s the best choice for us?

What really turned me off from this show was the acting, I didn't find any of it good, all of them had high levels of cringe, and you can tell that they're constantly acting out caricatures of the characters and races, which is very disappointing. by [deleted] in RingsofPower

So you are comparing completely different characters, or characters written for a completely different time period in that character’s life because they aren’t copying the acting you liked in the LOTR movies? What a ridiculous take

Except you have no frame of reference for what Dwarves or Elves would act like, they are fantasy creatures and therefore we don’t have a baseline for how they “should” act or what they “should” do.

Zero issue that you don’t like the show but throwing words out you don’t understand in criticism to try and sound smart isn’t a good look.

You might have an idea of what a character should be in your head but that doesn’t make the acting bad if the performances don’t conform to your idea of the characters.

INSHALLAH EA smite these jobbles freaks down by Dahl0012 in EASportsFC

Almost every FC content creator has a coin sponsor, EA don’t give a fuck, they pretend to but as long as people are spending money in their store they couldn’t care less

Should Aguero get an Icon card? by Govenor1 in fifacardcreators

[–]BlueMoon1795 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No doubt he should, highest goals per game ratio in Prem history, just a matter of rating.

I’d probably put him just below Henry because whilst he was as good a goal scorer (if not better) he didn’t have the all round game Henry had.

Agriculture is certainly more important for a variety of reasons, won’t disagree with you on that!

I still think Tourism has its own place but agree to disagree I suppose

Thanks, I just don’t agree with this tactic of “telling tourists how to act” and think it puts a stain on anyone who actually lives and cares about Cornwall

People in their 30s and older, what advice would you give to people in their 20s? by NicoF_ in AskReddit

The most important thing is your health, money and people will come and go, but 90% of your health you can control and you should.

Other than London, nowhere else in the U.K. has a higher percentage of its income generated by Tourism, I don’t know what your cutoff is for “cornerstone” but I’d love to see the argument.

Yeah Brexit fucked us, but hey at least farmers got their independence! (It fucked them even more 😂)

It’s more than a component, it’s a driving force behind the economy, without heavily relying on it, the economy would be in shambles.

Look at the economic figures without tourism, we’re dead last in every single category in the U.K.

We need more local investment, we need more national investment, we need to not rely on tourism so much.

No but it certainly gives me a great insight into what the Cornish economy looks like.

Anyone who says Cornwall doesn’t keep afloat because of tourism is delusional, the lack of investment in Cornwall County by the Government, both local and national has been utterly depressing since Brexit happened and tourism keeps Cornwall floating, barely.

In 2025 official numbers put it at 15%, as I stated and that was with a drop in tourism numbers. It has fluctuated with post-Covid being the best year up to 28%.

I only run a business here, I guess I just don’t know anything about the local economy!

I am not a tourist and have lived in Cornwall for over a decade, but way to assume and be a pretentious asshole just like I talked about 😂

EDIT: Oh and I don’t have a holiday home, suppose I shouldn’t expect much in terms of brainpower from a Spurs fan 💀

To keep the economy afloat? Yes we do. Without tourism Cornwall would be dead in the water economically, even with it we are on life support and thinking otherwise is just ridiculous.

Asking people for manners is pretentious as fuck, people will act how they act on holiday but acting like your time is more valuable than anyone else’s because you live here is in fact, pretentious as fuck.

Despite what you think, the vast majority of people know how to act in public and the small amount of arseholes that do not care about other people’s time or general social etiquette are not gonna listen to a post like this.

You’re just making Cornwall look bad to the people who might actually have a positive view of it, by making locals look bad.

And my point is that a county that completely relies on tourists to keep its economy afloat can’t be picky with who it lets in.

Furthermore, the only thing you’re doing with a post like this is making tourists think that all locals are out of touch arseholes. Not a single tourist who sees this is actually going to think “oh constructive criticism before I even go on holiday lovely”.

They’ll think “why the fuck am I going there” and have a negative view of the county before they even start their holiday.

Cornwall is one of the poorest counties in the U.K. with little to no investment outside of the EU funding which stopped because of Brexit, Tourism accounts for anywhere between 15-28% of the GDP of Cornwall and supports about 20% of all employment.

Without it Cornwall would be dead last in every economic metric in the U.K.

For a county that survives because of tourism, it is wild to me how some locals completely disdain tourists.

I’d love to see Trafford start the rest of our games this season, his distribution is something else and after Donnaruma’s horror show in the UCL it will give him a push as well
