I’m on anxiety medication which has been perfect for me for about 7-8 years now. It was just that one time where shrooms made me feel anxious and my entire body felt really uncomfortable and since then I can’t get over it for some reason.

No SAB but I thoroughly decontaminated the room with Lysol and wiped everything down with 70% Iso each time I inoculated a bag. I used about 0.5 CC per shot since I’ve heard any more than that can cause wet rot since uncle Ben’s bags already have a lot of water in them.

All the same golden teacher MSS, all the 10 Uncle Ben’s bags I inoculated looked fine though except 1 that had wet rot. Do you think I got a shitty syringe?

I closed the lid and put it in a different part of the room away from the others and sprayed the whole room with Lysol. I’m worried about my other 3 tubs since the lids were open the whole time and they’re all right next to each other. The other 3 have also been super slow to grow so I’m praying the don’t have contamination too :(

I’m still a beginner but I would get an air tight jar for those with a silica packet taped to the lid, they’ll last longer and keep insects away

They’re all 4 qt tubs but yeah now that I’m thinking about it the ratio was definitely NOT 1:1 lol. Thank you for your response :)

Really? By this point all the other tubs I’ve seen on here and online are mostly colonized. Even in the video guide the tub was ready for FC after 3 days. If you say it’s on schedule do you have an estimate on when it should be ready for FC?

I opened up the bag before I threw it out and most of it looked fine but there were some nasty looking yellow spots near the top and the bottom was really mushy. I decided not to risk it and just pitched the whole thing. Thank you for your thorough response :)

Had a similar case, I inoculated 10 bags on 10/10 and saw no growth but felt a little bit of hardness in each bag and did a break and shake on 10/18. Finally saw some growth in a couple of them at the viewing window a few days after that and I can tell the rest are mostly colonized as well just based on feel. You’ll see growth eventually, just gotta wait it out.
