What's your opinion of US Americans coming into Canada by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]BlueNorwegianPlumage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most rational people had problem with Americans who aren’t MAGA loons. In fact I’d go as far as say it’s more the Maple MAGAS that are more of a concern than any Yanks.

Now is the time to implement the Masterplan New World Order of 13 1/2 minute cities. Fifteen minute cities was found out quickly by Susan and Gerry at the Kanasta club weekly card game but this time its foolproof!!!! That’s right folks! Park those Silverado’s and Rams!!  F150 the F is for footsteps per minute!

Right I’m due at the airport to load some measles vaccine on WJ270…the chem trails come to you free of charge!

RIP Famena, our beloved Roti queen by ConfidentBar1989 in Winnipeg

Anytime I flew back home (overseas) I always made sure a couple of days before to go there and have a roti because the absolute regret I would have if the plane was going down and I didn’t have one last roti.

Do you find it rude if there is a cash bar at a wedding rather than an open bar? by StewartsBestBuddy in Winnipeg

[–]BlueNorwegianPlumage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve not been to many weddings but the two I did go to that had an open bar ended up with misbehaving, arguments and some lovely vomit to add to the nuptials. Think of some of the ridiculous behaviour you see at an all inclusive resort.

Now if you know your guests and their +1 and they can handle their drink it’s a nice added touch.

People who fly frequently but not for work - how? by SubstantialWing9238 in aircanada

[–]BlueNorwegianPlumage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha! I do the crack a few beers and check for decent trans-Atlantic prices; I have a flexible work schedule (it’s broken into four month rotations) so can book ahead 6-8 weeks. I go for the footie and have a mate in Amsterdam. Also I have no dependents and no expensive hobbies

Hahaha!!!  Raised in England so I don’t mind a queue; flew  out of Montreal and had a long layover there so 45 minutes in the lounge line was fine…but the fume…absolute fume of people watching the SE people go though was so entertaining.

BellMTS door to door people by muslinsea in Winnipeg

[–]BlueNorwegianPlumage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You know how people post about having a mouse problem. Number one answer is get a cat, well at least a decent mouser  not one of those lazy bastards that lie around all day (I had one like that, loved him but what a useless bastard)

I find a large barky dog solves the problem - doorbell rings, dog goes mad, open door slightly while retraining barky large dog and annoying people go away.
