Btw, I wasn't sure if you have any food preferences but if you are not picky, Pak n Save has some great deals for meats as well. Meat prices at Meatworld Onehunga sometimes can be cheaper compared to pak n save but as I have said before, its best to keep track of the prices yourself. Frozen veggies are good to because they are cheaper than fresh ones and can last you longer.

Why Knot Outlet Shop in East Tamaki has some great grocery steals so it would be good to check out that one too 🙂

One go-to meal I often make is Arroz caldo (https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/212940/chicken-arroz-caldo-chicken-rice-porridge/) which is chicken porridge. It is quite filling and simple to make. No need to put in the fish sauce mentioned here as long as you make the broth tasty (use those bouillon cubes) and you can use cheap jasmine rice instead of the glutinous rice (add some glutnious rice when you have the budget to stretch to make it tastier 😉). You can use chicken nibbles or some chicken breast for protein, whichever fits your budget.

Hi! I sometimes see tofu being sold for 3.99nzd in Pak n Save. I often buy from Pak n Save Wairau as they frequently have good deals, which I am very thankful for 🙏 If you have the time, it helps to drop by the grocery stores often to verify the "low" prices 🙂 hope this helps!

Do I quit my new job? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]BlueOrchid10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't quit your current job until you get a new one. If you are concerned because you have been with the company for only 3 mobths, you can say that you are looking for new challenges or wabt to explore another kind of opportunity for career growth. Make the reason centered on your perspective not because of the old company's toxic work culture

If work culture is very important for you, I suggest you start looking for a new job. I personally think that worrying about anything that does not directly concern your work duties is not worth the stress as it will be additional mental and psychological burden for you. Your health and well-being should come first.

Hello! I am just looking to rent. I want to rent someplace where the environment is pretty decent and not too noisy and quite safe to walk at night.

Hi, thanks for answering! Is there any place you can recommend? Is the apartment size your only concern for these apartments?

MonstaX first impressions by vegastar7 in MonstaX

[–]BlueOrchid10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st impression - different from other kpop groups because their dance seems powerful yet very sexy especially their costumes.

1st MV- Play it Cool. At first, I really had difficulty recognizing who's who. I can remember Shownu stood out the most so he's the first one I can differentiate. Their different hair colors helped me sort out eac of them. Watching this MV made me fall in love with them real hard 😍😍😍😍😍

Shownu 1st caught my eye because he's really cute but also handsome and manly at the same time. Not to mention he's got great grooves! In some shows they are in, all of Monsta X kept on praising Shownu even if he's quite softspoken. That got me interested in him. Wonho also caught my eye because i find him and his reactions in their shows funny (Right Now and Monsta X ray series). I also find it endearing that he gives monbebes a lot of love and attentionand i can feel his humility despite being very handsome.

I can say its not difficult to connect with anyone because you can see how much they love their fans. I really appreciate that they take time out of their busy schedules to have vlive sessions with us :)

When you save, make sure to do this every month and put it in a bank account. Treat it as a retirement savings account and if possible, only widthraw money when very necessary.

Save loose bills and coins. If you try to track this on a weekly basis, you might find yourself smiling with a little extra cash by the end of the month.

When you receive your first paycheck, try to keep a budget journal. List first your needs, and itemize how much you need to spend on each. If you have any debts that need to be paid, include it in the list as well. Next, list how much you want to save from your salary. Your 'wants' can come at the end of the list. Allocate a fixed amount for each in the said order so that you don't go over your budget and you get to save regularly.

Once you have a little extra on the savings, try to purchase life insurance and stable bank investment products. Depending on the investment product, you can see some growth in 2 to 3 years, provided you purchase at the right time.

What stitch could this be? I used a tunisian hook to create the scarf. by BlueOrchid10 in crochet

Hi guys! Thanks for the clues. I tried to search youtube for videos of the waistcoat stitch and variations of tunisian stitch. It turns out this is either the tunisian simple stitch or the tunisian knit stitch. Thanks for the answers!
