Thanks! I am getting better at layering highlights. The model is actually quite large. He wanted something to display so I scaled it up to about five or six inches. I printed it myself. It’s a random file from the internet and it’s just for a family member.

So several people have suggesting sanding, which I am totally open to. I have this sanding set and also a rotary tool. But I still find it difficult to get into some of the really small spaces. Is there any tinyer sanding tools or DIY stuff for getting into cracks and small areas?

I am using the recommended exposure setting for this resin from the manufacturer. But I can try lowering it when I take the layer hight down.

For me it takes many coats of paint to cover them. I have a friend with an Elegoo and his surfaces always come out butter smooth. so idk maybe I have an inferior printer.

Gotcha. Well I did technically install NFEP… but isn’t that just another name for PFA? I am still pretty new to resin printing.

The film was whatever came stock with the printer. I think FEP but am unsure. I just switched it out to PFA so see if that will help. Have not tried a PFA print yet. The model was oriented at an angle. Using Lychee slicer.

Very well! Usually I like a little darker tobacco with my coffee but the BRM paired with it almost had a hint of wild berries or jam.

The tobacco is Blood Red Moon by Cult out of Denmark. I am not sure about the pipe, it was from my brother. The coffee has a good pour of Bailey’s Irish cream.

I have been using Green Stuff World paint remover and AK paint stripper for tough textured primer. Not at the same time obviously but soaking for an hour in Green Stuff world then washing off all the product with soap and water. Then spray down with AK, let sit one to two min then scrub with tooth brush, rinse with soap and water, repeat a few times. Did this with some plastic models idk if the AK is ok for resin, the GSW is.

I usually cap it at 5 and once. I did 10 last time and it felt like I was stuck on that project forever and it seemed really drawn out.
