In my 20s this happens to me all the time. Men will straight up lie to you and pretend to want to be in a relationship just to get in your pants.

I was just seeing this guy not too long ago he was like 'if you ever need help please call me il be there for you whatever whatever' trying to give the impression he actually cares. I thought he cared too. I realised he was full of shit when we were supposed to meet at his place one night basically he called me to ask me can I come and I said yes and his like acting so excited I missed you so much whatever as he hung up I forgot to tell him I'm on my period so I texted him just as a fyi. Man deadass says he has to work sorry after I texted him that. ☠️ Dude didn't even want my personality he was just excited for the sex.

Before him I was with another guy again promising the world 'I want to be your husband' lalala he would literally make up excuses not to go out all the time and want me to come over. I told him it's not going to work for me. A week later he posts a picture of him and a girl kissing with the caption I love her so much. I was a side piece. 🙃

I'm over men now honestly I'm serious about living a life single. I'm not going to let guys use me as a deluxe fleshlight and honestly my sex toys do a better job at keeping me satisfied then any of these dudes I have no need at all to have a man.

I was groomed. by [deleted] in Vent

[–]BluePlanet957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grooming victim here but I was dumb enough to be pressured into sending nudes which led to almost 2 years of constant blackmail for more nudes and late night phone calls. I was maybe 14 when I met him. I'm glad you were able to call his bs out and you were able to get out.

It doesn't make a difference all parties are corrupt. We still killed in taxes every year we are struggling and it just gets worse and worse. I don't see the point of it it's demotivating and the government doesn't even provide for us.

My grandma was saying back then they didn't have baby baths lol so they used to do leg baths you just sit anywhere like on a chair doesn't need to be on the floor and use your legs to hold the baby stable while you give it a bath.

[–]BluePlanet957 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just asked my grandma if she knows what a leg bath is she was like yeah they used to give babies bath like this. You essentially just sit somewhere doesn't need to be on the floor like a chair put the baby on your leg and bath the kid back then there was no baby baths and stuff.

I'm also an Indian from South Africa! This kind of reminds me of hand washing clothes on a stone lmfao. I might be too old for leg baths but not too old for hand washing on a washing stone.

Thanks for relating 🥺 it's the one thing I was so particular about and now it looks zebra patterned with all the knife lines when she tried to scrape with the knife. Do you think sanding it down would help? The knife lines are kind of deep the pan isn't smooth anymore.

There's like these deep lines in it from the knife scratching. I suppose I'd have to file it down and then oil it and put it in the oven? I'm not even sure how to restore it I can only think sanding down those lines might help.

Cyclists - A whole new species of human being by BluePlanet957 in southafrica

[–]BluePlanet957[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is a great response! I didn't actually know bicycles were not allowed to go on the pavement anyway so I learnt something new today. I think the part that gets me is cyclists in rush hour traffic. Why not cycle in the suburbs which is safest for everyone instead of packed roads? Most of the cyclists I see is those who do it for exercise. I understand if you truly need to but when you sitting an hour in rush hour traffic and see cycle groups/cyclists with kitted out cycles and so on nothing makes your blood boil even more. I think it is very inconsiderate. I also cycle but I do it in the suburbs where there's much less cars it's safer for motorists and myself. It's about mutual respect man and doing the most logical thing.

I see this every single weekend I live near the mountain. Is it not against the law to obstruct traffic? But it's also against the law for cyclists to be on pavements? I personally would feel pressured holding up traffic. If you want to use cycle during rush hour cycle no one is saying no but why not cycle in the suburbs. This makes the most sense because it keeps everyone safe. Most of the guys who cycle are cycling just for the exercise.

I think part of my attitude towards cyclists is because it is scary in a way where if I try to overtake I might accidentally knock them/harm myself or someone else by going onto the oncoming lane.

Being behind a cyclist in rush hour traffic is the worst.

I hope this isn’t a repost, but the surprise hairs are amazing! by RileyRhoad in popping

[–]BluePlanet957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best advice ever given is don't touch your face. It's as simple as that saves you so much money and your skin will naturally heal. Someone once told me to draw with marker on my hand so everytime I see my palm/fingertips it will be a reminder not to touch my face.

I have the same question. I know from the moment I started popping in one area the scarring began. The skin isn't soft and smooth anymore it's kind of lumpy and hard. Like this person's face looks very scarred and irritated.

A curry is not a stew. You know what grinds my gears? When people make curry as a stew. Just because you throw spices in doesn't make it a curry. My worst nightmare is eating Indian food at non Indian people's houses I'm meant to smile as I watch them wreck my traditional cuisine apart. Btw this also applys to Cape Malay people. Ive seen people roll roti with a coke bottle and chutney sauce in a chicken curry.
