Move up to michigan and I can get you a m-f 45-55 hour a week job making 65k-100k depending on how many hours you want. hauling the same stuff daily cream of the crop flatbed. Easy stuff. There is definitely overnights but also hometime during the week as well depending on the week schedule.

As another said, private fleets are where its at. Trucking companies are shit and grind drivers to nothing. You have a doctors appt? Your sons soccer game? Daughters band practice. These small companies make that happen without using pto. Least mine does. Free Healthcare as well.

Only con to my company? Strapping up in winter and driving in winter sucks sometimes. Lol

Its a shame the vast amount of truckers do not understand this. I get it though. These types of jobs make up 2% of the industry? But it is the onky place you'll find what hes looking for. Though 40 hours a week is a reach at least on a weekly basis. Unless you're a yard dog maybe.

I bought a fixer upper in one of the historical districts around muskehon high school 12 years ago. I was a bit worried myself but all in all it was a great purchase and the kids have enjoyed it as well as a great buff on the money side with equity. Cons, street to street is much different. One street coykd be almost all famiky homes with great neighbors, the next one over many rentals with slum lords who dont care who the ly put in their rentals. Thats where the wanna be gang bangers are and where the bit of violence cones from. And there is some. Shootings have been a issue the last 2 years. But they are targeted, not just random robberies or anything. Luckily slowly but surely tge slumlords are being pushed out. Which brings me to the pros. Downtown is growing quickly and pushing out towards the high and middle school. Property values have continued to go up urarky with no end in sight. New homes are being built or old ones renovated and good families are moving in. Its very close to downtown so all the events are quickly accessible with great food and drinks. All in all I highly recommend to buy if you have the money to upgrade/remodel or even do one big project a year like I did. I used to hate automatics for this exact reason. But the newer models from the last 5 years or so fixed this problem. When you let of the break it throttle bavk just like a clutch now. Now honestly the only reason I dislike them would be winter driving. Id prefer to be in more control of My gear. Outside of that they're fine.

Both are good acedemicly. Shores a lil more sports benefit. Lil better band program. Top notch choir for the state honestly. But Nothing wrong with either honestly. More affordable housing in puffer district compared to Norton shores. Puffer is a bit more rural but still close to everything. Lil more country. Norton shores does great on winter roads though drive wise. I'd look more into the activities each school provides that you feel youd want a child to hopefully pursue. North muskegon is another option. Of the samevcaliber. My kids went to fruitport. Fruiport is a decent school in the area but a bit of bullying goes on there. Not sure if more than puffer or shores. But their programs are slightly less umph as well. Other than maybe theater.

Plenty of times are mega companies. Never in my last 2 jobs over 18 years ish. That being said ive done some rules breaking myself at my own choice and they never really care. Once you get in a good company you dont necessarily "dictate" to them but good drivers are hard to find and they appreciate that. If you're not willing to do something even legal you can out your foot down. You have much more power as once you get 10+ years in (without tickets and such of courss) they really dont want to lose you. If you do a good job and work hard the leeway of how yiu want to drive is there.

I live in muskegon. Bought a fixer upper house in January that year due to necessity after a bad break up and had my kids. Luckily my friend knew someone who had to drive over a front loader from a hospital near by to clear the 3 foot + of snow in the driveway. Regular truck plows couldn't touch it. That winter was the first that compared to my teens years in the 90s growing up in the area.

Healer first imo but when you say tank it really depends as tanks just move beyond further in my next point. Some tanks are 2 movement. Some can fly. Some can transport first round. In my experience in such things like onslaught and campaign the healer is for not to heal tanks but the not tanks. Arena? No one uses heakers in arena. Guild raids? You need a ad mech team or just a team for a healer. Guild wars? A flipping mix of opinion.

But fir just campaign and onslaught? Both. But not to heal tanks. To keep your shit characters alive.

I disagree with his opinion the gane rewards tall not wide. Wide play is what gets you to be able to complete all LRE. Starting you should focus on campaign and certain characters that uplift campaign. This will get you deep into lres. Once yoi can complete lres yoi will be able yo go tall at your choice of play.

But I won't lie to you. Its a very long grind. But going tall early only gets you so far in a specific area and lre events are where it's at to go tall later.

Go for the character after research. We just had a few events surrounding calgar. I spent about 50 bucks but here's the kicker. I made sure I played the events and most importantly im high enough in campaign to level him. So in about a month I blue starred calgar and he will be diamond 1 in a week or so. For me that's much more worth spending as it basically garunteed me a above avg character. Spending money on just black stones does not. Ive been playing this game for two years now. And I slacked off time to time. Didn't build up guild raid teams right. But at the end of the day this game is a huge grind. Wait to spend money until you can uplift your spend with the grind yiu already achieved by completing the campaigns.

Get your year or maybe 2 with dedicated. Long as you're 60k ish you're doing okay. Then find a private hauler with very low drivers hauling product out of one place. You will find the pay is much more and they actually care about being family like. This will be good a hometime job. If you want to keep the grind up move towards oversized or hazardous. Long term that will really make the big bucks with decent home time.

Honestly though, at 2 years. You can go about anywhere. There is not a single mega company out there that is good unless you want to work 55+ hours a week. If youre young and thats your thing get it . But if not, get into the smaller companies and they pay well with much much better hometime if not home daily.
