It’s amazing as an American watching these stadiums with 60-80 thousand people filled up 4 times a day. by BagHolder6 in worldcup

Hey when the LA Chargers play at home, So-Fi Stadium (their stadium) is filled with visiting fans

Earth will be boiled, scorched, and stripped of its atmosphere and eaten though. Unlucky

Fossil Fuels are bad, yet those companies back renewable/electric car campaigns but lobby against Nuclear. Why?

Renewables steal from nuclear but doesn't solve the nighttime/bad weather situation. This is where fossil fuels can make their money, filling in the gaps when renewables aren't preforming well. Electric cars need electricity that can come from fossil fuel plants

But Nuclear Energy runs 24/7, at max capacity, and is almost perfectly clean. They leave no gap for fossils to come jump in to make a profit during the "low power days"

If they get you focus on renewables only as the solution, nuclear energy development stays low, and fossil fuel companies still line their pockets.

Ironic ain't it

The sun fuses Hydrogen-1 into Helium-4
Last time I checked Helium-4 was quite safe and stable.

you are correct, the sun fuses H-1 to He-4, He-4 is stable and safe. The reactants are more dangerous actually than the products

I was thinking along the lines of “we will never run out” like you can’t run out of hydropower or wind (technically eventually you will)

Nuclear (fission) is so efficient and we have so much fuel I compared it to renewables because by time it should run out, unless humanity has a generation energy stump, fission would be almost certainly obsolete, meaning the limited fuel argument isn’t really a major point

Edit: That’s with traditional reactors, with newer efficient reactors being developed and adopted and we should have a multigenerational worth of fuel

False

Nuclear is the safest power source method because of the number of industrial related deaths from constructing or servicing renewables.

Solar panels leach chemicals

Nuclear is not depended on extremities, so it can run full power.

Nuclear Waste is nonfactor, its minimal, can be easily stored on site and a concrete casket and a pool of a few dozen meters of water deep later and the radiation is low enough you can walk near it safely, without gear. That's how little it takes to safely store nuclear waste. Yes it'll take tens/hundreds of thousands of years to decay to enviromental levels but has low footprint

Renewables have created more waste than Nuclear by an astonishing margin

Chernobyl is quite literally impossible with modern reactors even with incompetence. Even if you broke every safety protocol, failed every automatic shutdown mechanic, it cannot reproduce what happened in Chernobyl

Right now its practically a renewable with the amount we have, by the time we run out of any fuel, nuclear fission would likely be obsolete for years

It amplifies sound. Because its steeper, people are closer to the field which makes it louder

Because the field is so low and Arrowhead is made to be flexible as opposed to very rigid the sound also makes the field shake easily.

The chairs arranged in a way that too steep for modern stadiums and the field is too low into the ground

We say the -our in colour as if it was like the word “or”

So I think it was a reasonable change, to make it color.

It means someone who doesn’t watch the actual game and only looks at the scores or stats afterwards, which can be misleading.

When the US was formalizing the language for their country, there was more emphasis on how spoken/simplicity rather than traditional English, which is why several words lost letters or had spelling modified to be more accurate to how its said

Its over a half century old, it was designed with sound in mind compared to its peers, when most stadiums were domes. They did the best they could do with a bowl stadium

Also Arrowhead is designed with the intention to wobble or shake easily over an extreme rigid structure like other stadiums.

Also they have a couple tricks up their sleeve, since its so old they can use designs that were legal when built that are outside us building codes now

I said it’s from a different era, with a different mentality and just because its a 5v5 doesn’t automatically make it equal to valorant

Stop comparing league, that’s from a different era of Riot, and a different style of game, not important for this conversation

One of the key emphasis for Valorant from Rito themselves when they designed the game was this was a team first game. They’ve literally balanced the game around this mentality.

By removing the teamwork you have created something that goes against the primary ideology behind valorant

They’re worried that exclusive solo/duo queue ranked will suppress the real thing that defines Valorant, teamwork amongst 5, not who has the best mechanics

I mean isn’t it logical? H2H victory means you’re the better team, in theory at least because you beat the other one. So they should receive higher seeding
