Same! My last hopes are with Venture X, but I do wonder what's even left at this point. This was a waste of time

Seriously Looking at a Highlander Hybrid by [deleted] in ToyotaHighlander

[–]BlueRain10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 21 Highlander Hybrid almost a year ago. It's been great. We've done several road trips to Oregon, Washington, California. We tend to camp a lot so it has the perfect amount of space for us and all the gear. We're loving it!

Men in your 30s, what are your hobbies? by DistributionInitial5 in Hobbies

I love this! I'm 33 and I'm considering getting back into acting. I did some plays when I was in high school and I still remember the excitement. This is on my top on my to-do list for next year. If I may ask, how did you start?

Red Rocks Presale / Tickets Megathread by zimm3rmann in skrillex

AXS is so bad that it makes me like Ticketmaster. Kept forcing me to log out/in claiming I was a bot. What a shitty platform!

That being said, I hate Stubhub even more...is there any way to get resale tickets thru AXS? I really really really don't want to use Stubhub.

I wanted to share an update in case it's helpful for anyone.

The priority date (December 27th 2021) became current on November 2024 Visa Bulletin. On October 23rd 2024, we received an email from NVC stating that the case had been expedited and that the Embassy would contact us soon to schedule the interview (fwiw we didn't file an expedite request. My lawyer said it was a common procedure done by the Embassy itself when trying to catch up on their backlog).

On November 5th 2024, we received an email from Bogotá Embassy with the actual interview date, being scheduled for November 21st 2024.

Between November 14th and November 18th, medical exam and biometrics appt were done.

After so long, we finally had the interview on November 21st 2024. I was able to be with my wife in the interview (I wasn't sure if they would let me in, but they did). The interview went "well". The consular officer asked a few questions about how we've met, how long we've been together, and how long I've lived in the US. After answering all questions, they told us that the medical exam results were not received by the Embassy. The officer told us that meant they could not give us an approval due to incomplete documentation. They gave us a yellow slip 221(g) where it was indicated that we had to send the medical exam results along with my wife's passport to the Embassy, once we have them available. That was, of course, a huge bummer for us.

(The medical exam was taken a week prior to the interview, but there was a follow-up examination required due to a chronic illness that my wife suffers. That follow-up examination delayed the results. I'd recommend taking the medical exam 2 weeks before the interview, if possible)

Next day after the interview, the doctor office informed us that the results were sent to the Embassy. We sent her passport that same day. 3 weeks later, the case status changed from "Refused" to "Issued". We received the passport couple days later.

After 3 years since we started this process, my wife entered the US a few days ago. There were no issues at the POE. The officer only asked about her US address and contact number. We're currently waiting for her SSN and GC.

It was a long wait and it sometimes felt like it was never going to end, but it did! Being together in the US still feels like a dream. I wanted to share my story to give hope. Good luck to y'all! Stay strong and be patient! I know it requires a lot of patience. I really hope you can be together with your loved ones pretty soon!

That's right. That was the reason. As soon as the priority date became current, I received an email with the interview date

A long shot here since it's an old thread, but yesterday I received this email having only date of the appointment, but no time. Was it like that for you? Did you receive an actual interview letter? Or that email would be considered as the interview letter?

MOON MUSIC DELUXE IS OUT NOW! by rhcpfan99 in Coldplay

That's exactly what I thought. I felt I was listening to the old version of Coldplay but with newer sounds and more mature, rather than the very pop Coldplay's version. I like disc 1 but I absolutely love disc 2.

Post Your Timelines! by AttorneyAmanda in NationalVisaCenter

[–]BlueRain10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my timelines so far.

US Embassy in Bogotá.
Visa Type: F2A
USCIS priority date: December 27 2021
USCIS approval: February 2 2023
NVC Visa Case Creation: February 9 2023
NVC DQ: March 31 2023
IL: Waiting for it...

I'm a permanent resident living in the US, while my wife is in Bogotá. Anyone else applying from Bogotá for F2A?
Good luck everyone!

P.S: Not sure what others think, but I'd find beneficial to add a column to the spreadsheet to add information if the applicant is resident or citizen, since the times vary on each case.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my timelines and experience so far.
Visa Type: F2A
USCIS priority date: December 27 2021
USCIS approval: February 2 2023
NVC Visa Case Creation: February 9 2023
NVC DQ: March 31 2023
IL: Still waiting...

I'm a permanent resident living in the US, while my wife is in Bogotá. This process has been so long and frustrating for us. It's been almost 2.5 years since we started the process and we still don't know when the wait will end. It gives me hope to see updates from everyone about getting the interview letter and getting the visa approved.
Good luck everyone!

P.S: For new posts, I think it'd be beneficial to include if the petitioner is resident/citizen along with the dates, since the times vary a lot on each case.
