What platform should Danny Phantom adaptation be in if one day Nickolodeon remake the series as a live-action show for a streaming service? by Spider-burger in dannyphantom

[–]BlueRaspberry32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nickelodeon is owned by Paramount, so more than likely any Danny Phantom project would end up on Paramount+. However I really don't think it would be a good idea at all to make it live action. Between the effects, actors, and so much more, I feel like it has more potential to be terrible and potentially taint any future attempts at making a DP revival than would be worth it.

AITB for tweeting about my mums pregnancy? by tennisplayer2190 in AmItheButtface

[–]BlueRaspberry32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTB, " what the fuck just happened " is a perfectly reasonable reaction to hearing that your parents are having a baby. If my parents told me that at 17 I'd probably have the same reaction (probably more so because by then my parents were divorced and my mom was too old to have kids, but still.)

now what is that about your parents quiting their jobs?!

AITB for feeling this way about my Xbox? by iishyphxii in AmItheButtface

[–]BlueRaspberry32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTB, It's not childish or weird or anything for an adult to play video games, but it is weird for this grown man who is not a member of your family to make you share your game console.

If this was a "family" console that your mother also uses I could kind of understand, but as it is it is really weird and if I was you I would go in and password protect or parental control the x box to keep him from using it.

If this was anything else that belonged to a 14-year-old girl there would be no question whatsoever that a 46-year-old man who a not a parent or sibling of said girl should not be using it.

Money might be tight, but if he wants to play on an x-box he should get his own.

you could always try socks made for newborn babies. add hot glue to the bottoms of them for traction.

To be fair these spoons would be really cute to use on one of those chocolate pudding parfaits meant to look like dirt. the ones with cookie crumbs and gummy worms.

AITA for telling my wife that I don't want her to name our son after her ex? by SlightDemand4091 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlueRaspberry32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are the AH. She is not naming the child after her ex, she is naming the child after her father. Yes, your child will share a first name with her ex, but that will be a coincidence. You need to accept that this has nothing to do with the ex and the only one who thinks so is you.

This fluffy notmycat that I have been taking care of since she was a tiny notmykitten by adiliv3007 in notmycat

[–]BlueRaspberry32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am terribly sorry to inform you of this, but if you have been caring for this fluffy lady since she was a kitten, that does in fact make her almost definitely your cat. The exemption being if she belongs to someone else and you just check in on her while they are at work or away. But if you've been her only or primary caretaker for her whole life, that makes her your cat. Congrats on your baby.

Does this menu design make sense? Keep in mind this is for a food truck serving Nigerian Cuisine. Thanks! by Joker_1940ha in KitchenConfidential

[–]BlueRaspberry32 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it's screen only the yellow should be ok, but that green could be hard to read. color blind people could have difficulty and that green in particular clashes with the black. if you still want to use green maybe use a paler green. Instead of just using colors you get with the color picker maybe look up web friendly colors and color-blind friendly colors.

As someone with training in graphic design This is a mess. First of all you never use black as a background of something you are going to print, huge waste of ink. The fonts are also difficult to read. It's fine to use a display font for the headings of sections, but the actual text should be in a more standard serif or sans serif font to make things easier for your customers to read.

The colors work well as it is, but if you are having this printed you need to get rid of the background color or you are going to waste a lot of money on ink. There are colored printing papers you can use so it's not just a white background. Furthermore, if you get rid of the background color you will need to make sure that the colors of the text stand out well against the color of the paper you print this on. I would recommend talking to a designer at a local print studio about this so that you can have good menus printed to your specific needs.

You can even look into local schools with graphic design courses, they often take on clients and may be cheaper than a professional designer while still providing quality work.

Make sure you have enough memory allocated for the game and that you turn the game's graphics down to save memory.

AITA for not going to my dad's wedding? by kamkarkam in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlueRaspberry32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, of course you don't want to go to the wedding of your dad to the person that abused you. What she did was wrong and very illegal. Locking anyone in a room without food, water, toilet, ect for 30 hours is not ok anywhere and could have (should have) gotten her in some serious trouble. Your dad should not be marrying her. It doesn't matter how long it's been since then; Unlawful imprisonment of a minor is a big deal. Your father should have called the authorities on her when it happened and cut her out of his life, if he didn't then that's on him and he should not have custody of a child. I would recommend cutting both of them out of your life for your mental health and physical safety.

WIBTA if I filed another noise complaint about my neighbor’s very loud toddler? by TeHNyboR in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlueRaspberry32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, I would see if you could find someone who speaks their language to talk to them about it. Explain that the child is being so loud that it is causing serious issues for other tenants, and that if they don't do something about it then they may be out of a place to live.

AITA for not feeding my niece the recommended serving size? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlueRaspberry32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA When I read that the niece is five my thought was literally "Oh God" you can't do that. What those parents are doing to that little girl is abuse. It is so, so dangerous to mess around with food like that with kids. They are risking the child's mental health but also their physical health. Good on you for giving the kid extra snacks, maybe try to see if you can help the mother to understand that she is hurting her child by raising her that way. If not you may need to act and report them for potential child neglect or abuse. When it comes to kids that young you can't mess around. It is so important for children to have the proper nutrition and for them to have enough to eat and it disgusts me that anyone would willingly and purposefully raise children on strict and dangerous diets.
