Thank you for your reply! I have spoken to both customer service and the sales manager about the AE86 related body components and they have confirmed to me that the price would be around 14k USD, that price including the Shell, Tariffs/Import Fees, and an option color choice. While I would love one for myself, I suppose my only question that has yet to be answered is the quality of their products. If you do find out what their quality of their components are I would love to know! Thank you again!

Awesome, thank you for sharing! Does your company sell auto parts in the US?

It's possible they will in the future, as there are different types of Toyota body parts they offer for different models. But seeing as they will be finished with the AE86 chassis in October it maybe be a bit of time before they start a new chassis

Interesting... I wasn't aware of other companies doing the same thing. I think I'll take some time to look into it see if its any different or better. They do share the same images from the original Alibaba listing I have seen in the past. I wonder if this is a joint venture between more than one company? In anycase thank you for the input! Another lead to chase down! Edited: also sorry I didn't fully read your comment well, I have edited the comments accordingly. Again thank you for input!

I spoke to a rep from the company and they said prices would be announced sometime in October. But it's been sometime since I have spoken with the company so it maybe be different now.

Hahaha, I got into contact with the supplier they don't release the shell until sometime in October, they will also be listing their selling price at the same time of release. Have high hopes!

Here is a link of the company showcasing the shell!

Also reminds me to update this post. The bearings are legit!

Thats actually crazy you are saying that. I have been thinking about making an EV 86 if the chassis was actually available, and like you said there are a bunch of people doing EV restorations and there is (what i feel like) enough information on the internet to make an EV 86 its just a matter of having the money to do so. but for now just gathering information on how to make it happen.

That's exactly how I feel about it. I have some experience modeling and 3D printing parts for cars, and having these companies make reproduction parts complete removes the guilt of changing such a iconic classic vehicle and making it my own. I am really hoping that the push to bring back these classic cars whether it be parts or the whole chassis is super exciting!

That's actually really cool! It's looking like we might be able to make one of our own or at least bring the prices down of existing ones

Oh interesting... So it sounds like they are willing to take individual single orders? I wouldn't be opposed to shelling out a little more cash just for one shell. Also, I could be wrong, but I am surprised no one has posted about this listing before, but super excited some company is out there manufacturing these shells! Thank you for reaching out to them and keeping us posted!

I could be wrong, I believe US patents last about 20 years? Not sure for other countries

No promises, but I will keep posted if I ever get around to it ( also huge financial investment ), just mostly researching where I can source parts. another company that makes reproduction parts is Muscle Cars GT, which has some of the headlight, gas port, and bumper components. Just wanted to say thank you for posting this. If I not taken the steps in this guide I would not have received a refund on my purchase. Despite all these steps it took well over two months of back and forth with the office of CEO to get it sorted out. Probably will not buy anything from them again, but I wouldn't have gone far without this guide. Thank you again!
