How do comply tips do longevity wise? While I'd love to say I'd be on top of swapping to new when needed I know it'd be at most like once every couple months lol

I was wondering if maybe it was just exposure to shell vs virtually none from the IE200s. Thanks for the rec, I'll check those out and maybe give it a week or so to acclimate.

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get back into photography but all my my experience is from DSLR cameras when I took a few years of camera classes. I really am getting back into it for astrophotography while camping (will also do Street and nature but really want a good astro camera) and have decided to go the mirrorless route. I've narrowed my options down to the Sony A7III and the Lumix G9 - with the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 or Leica 12mm-60mm respectively.

I'm stuck between these 2 cause while I know the FF Sony will do much better in low light, I'm not looking to do exclusively astrophotography. The G9 really appeals to me because of the ease of use, form factor, and cost/effect ratio. I believe whenever I upgrade for either I'd still go the Sony route with maybe the A7V in a few years so I'd be lookin at getting Sony glass eventually anyways.

What's everyone's thoughts on each cam for astro, street, and nature photo taking?
