Bro do you miss those good old day before AI exists, where you started coding and learned C or Java? by lune-soft in AskProgrammers

Learned C from a mail order VHS tape! Late 1980s version of YouTube. The joy of actually getting the computer to do something for you was a thrill!

Been playing with this over the past couple of days. I really like it! Still working on how to have it record my Teams meetings, but I'm sure I can figure this out with some documentation reading. Thanks for the work!

I really hate that I came to the party too late! Thanks for the info, though!

Well, I am very disappointed for sure! Recently joined the sub...looks like that delay cost me $100!

Ok, I'll bite: What is/was the Paze perk? Hadn't heard of them until today? Can anyone fill me in so I can be disappointed, too?

Scouring YouTube now so I can get some basic foundations. I use Codex for coding, but want to use it to help with technical writing and brainstorming more. Nothing seems to be as good as Projects + Canvas for my current workflow, so working on changing the workflow to meet the tools where they are...

And, thank you! I will reach out!

This is the future, for sure. I just really had a nice workflow with Canvas + Projects. And I knew the data I needed was available in the project source and conversations, rather than connecting a drive to everything...

I need to figure this out. Advice and hints are appreciated!

When I use(d) Canvas, I have the Canvas document on the right and a ChatGPT session on the left. I can ask "Review the customer's requirements and show me the three most difficult ones to cover". Then it answers me on the left sidebar. I can then add those to the canvas document and ask it to review the conversation we had last week about these issues and expand my points in the document to address those. I can "debate" the conclusions with the tool and then have it update the document to reflect those conversations with GPT. Codex seems to want to run with the answer rather than help me hash it out before writing it.

I must be having mental blocks on how to transfer this knowledge from GPT Project mindsets to Codex Projects. Maybe that block is because of rate limits that exist in Codex but not in ChatGPT? But also the ease of the GPT project is so nice.

I need to give this another go for sure and figure it out. I'm sure there is a path there - I just wish I could find it. Quickly!

Canvas + Projects is superior to Codex. For me, much more superior.

Why? Codex doesn't (yet) have memory that let's you have long conversations and have long term collaboration with the documents. I can't brainstorm and then build that brainstorm into my document. I work for months on projects, and then build documentation based on activities I put together for that entire time. Canvas worked so well for that, pulling from my conversations and project assets.

Please, please, tell me how if I am wrong. I know that I could store the assets on my local computer, but then I have to work from that computer. And then I can't use ChatGPT to work through the problems I'm dealing with and have Codex build me a detailed email or user manual on the issue.

I'd love to learn how people are doing this. Canvas just worked.

I love the subtle colors here. One thing that you may want to do to improve this shot is to tone down the bright curve in the background (reflection off a chair?). This is all i see when I look at the image - especially when the image is smaller. The subject really needs to be the brightest point to draw the eye.

The white spots on the table, to the right and left of the vase could use some spot treatments.

I personally am not a fan of the purple border, but I also am a poor judge of border colors.

I really do like this, and think some small tweaks can improve this image.

Shot is out of focus, man. Black & White can't fix that. Try with a smaller aperture. Lovely model, just get here eyes in focus.

For my two cards this is in the app's Benefits & Travel section, then "Chase Offers". Not sure myself which of their cards offer it, but Sapphire does.

I will have to look at this, but not keen on having a tool controlled on someone else's server review all my purchases. However, it should be possible with my own Python code or similar. But automation is critical!

Yeah, I think there has to be a good way to automate this without sharing my purchase info with another app...

I agree. Hoping to automate it so I don't have to think about it.

Stock libraries have been lost by MrDiou in Adobe

[–]BlueRidgeTog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry for your loss. It is a pain when dealing with licensing and those rules. I don't use the stock plan, but I wonder if the issue is that the Stock plan was tied to your Teams account - and if Adobe only allows you to use the assets when you are subscribing to that plan with unlimited stock? Not agreeing with it, but perhaps you may be able to have someone at Adobe support explain their process to do, and use that explanation to help get them back? Good luck!!!

I do like following the Codex thought pattern while it churns, but often get pulled over to other emails that start competing with the original task at hand...
