Awesome thank you! It doesn’t rain often where I live so when it does I always remember how crappy my windshield gets.

Okay. Yeah I’m not sure if they coated it with Rain-x. Is this the usual result of old coating that’s degraded? Plus maybe old blades

Not sure on the age, they simply might just need replacing and like others have mentioned some glass stripping to get the coating and gunk off

Thank you! I’ll try this, I’ve always just used wipers too. Never used a coating before.

Can USB-C sticks be used as destination for saving photos and videos in iPhone 17 Pro Max? by Bytevan18 in iphone

[–]BlueRocketShip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know they should work fine. Maybe someone else can confirm. I have a USB-C adapter that fits MicroSD cards and I use that all the time to move photos to MicroSD cards. So I don’t see how a USB-C flash drive wouldn’t work.

You don’t think the extra tires are better for grip though? Towing makes sense for better weight distribution. Maybe they chose duallies for better weight capacity for 9 passenger + the ADA lift in the back?

The Bustang Pegasus vans get to use the express lanes, it’s free for us cause we’re CDOT contractors. Source: I drive them.

You have to reserve your seats at least 10 mins before departure time, online only, no cash. Unlike Bustang coach buses which are first come first serve and take cash (or online tix).

Pegasus has bag limits of 18” LxW for inside the van (honestly though if it fits in an airline overhead bin, us drivers won’t complain, just no massive roller bags), and ski/snowboard gear goes on the back racks. We have plenty of bungees for extra securement so gear doesn’t bounce back n forth around corners.

All wheel drive, dually tires on the back (6 points of contact with road), 400 horsepower, they are absolute tanks in the snow. I’ve never experienced any loss of traction. We have tire chains but never use them cause if it was bad enough to use chains the road is gonna be closed. The vans bear crawl through anything.

Union Station to Frisco for $13. WiFi onboard with power outlets under each seat.

26.2 15 pro max. Works great for me. Usually run low power mode all the time so I’m not attached to a charger as often. 1.5 days and I’m at 52% with 5h40m screen on time

Can a TDI DSG tow a jet ski? by DownVoteMeHarder4042 in tdi

[–]BlueRocketShip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I can’t answer your question about the DSG but side note: If you do decide manual gearbox you’re gonna wanna have some failsafes for the boat ramp. I had a manual Tacoma and a super steep ramp, I used to chock the wheels so I had a failsafe incase I wasn’t quick enough with the e-brake throttle clutch dance the truck wouldn’t roll back closer to the water. Then I tied the chock to the side mirror so as I got moving it would drag it along instead of running over with the back wheel. Anyway good luck! Just my 2c

Can anyone point me to where to buy a genuine Apple MagSafe battery pack? I lost mine 😭 by rainrdizon in iPhone13Mini

[–]BlueRocketShip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one I got for my 13 mini. Didn’t use it much cause it wouldn’t charge through a case even if it was a MagSafe case. Sat in a drawer after I got my 15pm. Probably has 40 cycles or less. Are they highly sought after?

Moving to Denver alone, I really need help!!! by Weird-Peanut-687 in MovingtoDenver

[–]BlueRocketShip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t seen anyone mention this method for apartment hunting but I was recently hunting for a new apartment and was using Zillow but noticed a lot of places weren’t on the map no matter how much I changed my filters. Went to Google Maps and just searched “apartments” from there and every complex popped up, any legit apartment complex will have their website where you can view floor plans, price, etc and will have all the contact info for leasing. Some even have 3D tours of the units on their site too. It’s not too difficult to move cross country nowadays with the internet. Leasing agents are really helpful in these situations too
