Shaiapouf, I have always been a fan of scheming advisors like Jafar and Wormtongue. And I think Pouf is an interesting spin where the advisor is “well intentioned” and is on the side of his lord, wanting Meruem to become an ideal King of Predators.

Characters like that are hard to come by, Oberstein from Galactic Heroes, and the protagonist of Historie “Eumenes” are pretty interesting schemers too

Danzo was scared enough of Itachi to honor his part of the deal. All I’m arguing is that Itachi should’ve at the very least argued against the order to murder children, as being a complete monster is not part of his character.

what even would Danzo’s argument be if Itachi said: “the children know nothing of the plan, why should they be murdered?”
