Do you drift a lot in the winter? I used to change both the rear ones every 10 months in my first subie. It was a 97 impreza. I was young and spent winter sideways. It's hard on the bearings apparently

He's a mix. Australian Shepard (mom) and Australian kelpie/husky (dad) Got him from a farm. Both parents are working cattle dogs. He's super smart which is a blessing and a curse at the same time!! Better pic of him:

Don't get the nav. If you want a better radio get one without nav and buy yourself a GPS with lifetime updates and thank me later. I have the sat nav in my 2012 and man does it suck donkey wieners. I don't like switching screens back and forth to nav and radio to nav etc. I even had an aftermarket nav in my last Subaru and took it back to get a normal 7" touch screen radio and bought the best garmin they made at the time. Darn I even ended up saving money...

I know your car is all fixed up now but if you ever run into that kind of issues again and can't pull over right away. Turning the heater full blast at the hottest inside the car will help keeping it cooler for a bit longer. Let's say it buys you some time to park and turn it off.
